Never feeling like they belonged was a feeling that Lissa Dragomir lived with, even with her family and life long best friend, although they aided in that feeling not being so strong...

Viktoria Belikov swore that by Vlad, whenever someone approached her, Kate Alistair, or rather, Mazur as she quickly learned, was always around and glaring at anyone who dared step into Viktoria's bubble, and always stopped Dimitri from going all brotherly on her.
Finally as her first night came to a close, Viktoria shuffled her way to the female dhampir dorms, only to find that her dorm was right in front of Kate's and it surprised her to see Princess Dragomir with her, along with another Moroi and another Dhampir, the latter two male students of the Academy. Slowly and carefully, Viktoria tried to ente her dorm room without being noticed but heard Kate's voice "Останавливаться. Идите сюда. (Stop. Come here.)"
Viktoria didn't know what it was that had her obeying Kate, but she did, slowly and carefully, entering the dorm room and looking at the other three people present with a forced small smile, only to have them greet her softly without making big movements.
"That's Princess Vasilisa Dragomir, call her Lissa, that's Christian Ozera and the red haired hyper active puppy is Mason." Kate introduced as she finished rumaging through one of her drawers. Viktoria nodded as she memorised the named she didn't know. "If you ever get any grief from Zecklos again and I'm not around, look for them."
Lissa smiled softly at Kate's protective words, while Viktoria frowned, "I'm not a child, I don't need protectors." the young Belikov argued defensively.
"Действительно, ты не. (Indeed, you're not.) But Zecklos isn't one to let go of girls unless he's had his fill with them." Kate replied softly before turning to Viktoria and motioning for her to leave as she followed her into Viktoria's own dorm.
"Did my brother put you up to this?" Viktoria accused as she entered her dorm at St. Vladimir's for the first time.
"God no, there's very little that he can make me do, unless we're training." Kate laughed before closing the door behind her as Viktoria frowned.
"What's your relationship with my brother?" Viktoria questioned as Kate slowly approached her bubble with her permission.
"I'm his student, who happens to like his accent and his duster." Kate confessed as she carefully undid the scarf on Viktoria's neck to reveal the bruises on it along with the very predominant angry fang marks on her pulse.
Viktoria expected to see disgust or even pity in Kate's face, but saw only anger that quickly faded. "So you don't like my brother? Because I think he likes you." Viktoria rambled trying to make the awkward air disappear.
Kate raised a brow at her words before slowly reaching for atub of cream and opening it, "I don't know how I feel about him, there's a line that I'm sure neither of us will cross, not even after I graduate." Kate confessed softly, as she cautiously applied cream on the bruise around Viktoria's eye.
