"This has been a night that St. Vladimir's will never forget, for many reasons. We have extra Guardians manning the Academy perimeter. Nothing can get in, or out. After he's cleared by the Doctors, Victor Dashkov will be confined to a holding cell downstairs until he can be transferred to the Royal Court Prison, where he will await trial." Headmistress Kirova told the recently awoken Kate, who was laying in the Infirmary bed, despite the fact that two days had passed since that night.

Dimitri was standing on one side of the room, keeping his composure and distance, with his sister, standing next to him, copying his posture, while Diana and Lissa sat next to Kate.

Kate who was no longer wearing her dress, nor Dimitri's sweater, Kate who was wearing a hospital gown, Kate, whose neck was littered in hickeys and looked like she had a very thorough and rough intimacy session.

Kate, who Dimitri was trying very hard not to look at, despite the fact that his sister was looking at him as if she dared him to look at Kate, at the state that he'd left her in.

"How's Natalie?" Kate rasped, instantly being handed a bottle with a straw by her aunt. Something that was making her feel like she was a child again with her aunt taking care of her.

"We haven't been able to find her as of yet, although we have contacted the remaining members of the Dashkov family, to let them know of what has happened. They have elected a new representative for the family, the title of Princess and Head of the family now falls to Lady Lenore Dashkov." Kirova told them.

"Do you remember what happened?" Kirova then asked Kate, who blinked slowly, showing how she was still waking up.

"I-" Kate started before frowning and placing a hand on her lower stomach where she remembered the stake piercing her.

"Don't push her, everyone gave a report, even the children." Diana snapped at Kirova.

"I got shot, and then staked.... I think I staked Victor too..." Kate replied, frowning as she tried to remember, "I remember making the motion to stake him, but I don't remember if I did."

Due to the reports, and the fact that Victor Dashkov barely survived with his life, Kirova knew that Kate had indeed staked him. Not to mention the fact that her stake was removed from the right lobe of Victor's liver, having pierced through and through, buried ¾ in.

"And there were psi-hounds." she continued, before looking up at Kirova.

"Mr. Ozera burned one to a literal crisp." Kirova replied with a hint of mirth, perhaps amusement, Kate was still too drowsy to know.

It didn't take long for Kirova to leave, followed by Diana, and then Lissa and Viktoria, leaving Dimitri and Kate alone in the room, Dimitri still looking away from Kate mainly because the curtain was still open.
