The annoying buzzing sound ended and while the two Moroi's kept looking at each other the resident tattoo artist cleaned the tattoo area and pressed a wrap over it, reminding her to go easy on the things she wrapped or had pressed against her neck.
"You are dismissed from today and tomorrow's sessions, we don't want to irritate your skin and have you have a reaction to the mark." Kirova claimed, pressing her hands on the table softly and pushing herself off the comfortable chair she had been watching from. Her dark eyes watching as Kate's face twitched at her words, almost as if she was displeased with her orders.
So far, Katherine Alistair had not been what everyone expected her to be, she had not procastinated about anything, other than commenting about the pool, which was usually what a teenager would do, she hadn't cussed at anyone, she had in fact actually obeyed the rules.
"With respect Headmistress." Kate started, pushing herself up from the chair she had been while she was marked, mentally fighting the bond that united her to Lissa, the same bond that was attempting to pull her into her Moroi's head, "I don't give a damn about being marked. I agreed to stay because of Lissa, now I heard that there are these trials, field experience thing coming up."
She balled her hands into fists at her side and attempted to breathe slowly.
"And I plan on being beyond ready for them." She finished. The sound of the door slamming scared everyone, with the exception of Christian and Kate, the latter actually blowing out a breath of relief at the distance that Lissa was putting between them.
The blonde Moroi walked fast, as fast as she could to get away from Headmistress's office, the soft sound of the beginning of a rainstorm beginning to fill her ears.
She had felt through the bond that she was unknowingly attempting to pull Kate into her head, she could feel the strain of Kate fighting against the bond and she knew that usually this pull towards each other's head, although it was usually one-sided, occurred because of strong emotions, but she couldn't help it.
