He really changed a lot.
How could he say that? How could he agree to such a thing easily without having a second thought? Yes, it was just simple. The guy just wanted to have my number. But what hurt me the most was, he gave in without hesitation.
But the Nazareth I knew would never gonna agree to that. Magagalit siya agad. Magseselos. Maiinis.
Everything had changed.
"He already has his family of his own," I scoffed and wiped my tears.
Because I still had Kye. I also promised my mother that I would do everything just to give him a better life.
Muling nanumbalik ang kirot sa dibdib ko. I tried to calm myself down so no one will notice. Pagkababa ko ay naabutan ko si Kye. I immediately went to him.
"Didn't I tell you that you are not allowed to go outside our room?" I said. I kneeled to see my brother's face.
Mahirap na. Nazareth's around. Kye shouln't go outside at baka paalisin kami rito, lalo na't may kasama akong bata na pinapakain.
Kye pouted his lips. "Boring ate," he answered.
Stay like this for one week," I uttered.
He didn't mind me and continued to play on my phone.
She was biting her lips, natataranta.
"Sismars!" she shouted.
"Bakit?" I asked.
I already made a coffee for them, 'di ba? Or baka hindi niya ininom dahil ako ang gumawa? The mere thought stressed me out.
I was left again with no choice.
I knocked twice before I heard his voice again.
"Come in," he commanded.
I gulped before I entered. My heart was beating so fast against my chest. I didn't know why.
"C-coffee...s-sir..."
Naabutan ko siyang nakaharap sa kaniyang laptop. He was wearing rimmed specs that rested to his narrowed nose very well. I had to admit that it suited him. It made him hotter and sexier.
He didn't bother to look at me nor say anything. Nilapag ko ang tasa ng kape. Hindi pa rin ako umalis. Hinintay kong may sabihin siya. Dahil do'n mukhang nairita siya bigla.
