"Andrilia breakfast is ready! Get down now!"
"Mom, when will you stop calling us 'Andrilia' and instead call Aurelia and Andrew? It's not like we are a ship. For God's Sake, we are fuckin' siblings." Andrew shouted from his room. Andrew is my sibling. We aren't twins but act like it. We are a few months apart and study in the same grade. He is an amazing football player. Like the best I've seen in town. He hopes to become a footballer one day and come on T.V.
"Language Andrew!"
"Whatever!"
"Good morning momsie!" I rushed downstairs and hugged daddy.
"Today's your 1st day in the senior year! Have breakfast and get ready quickly. I wanna click your photo... Ah, James, our kids have grown up so quickly, next year they will be in college and will leave us all alone."
"Don't be so emotional, honey! They will always remain with us!"
I was really excited to meet my besties after the break cause both of them had gone to their native places for the break and had arrived just yesterday. Andrew came downstairs and gobbled up all his sandwiches. We were already running late. Mom quickly clicked our picture and gave her discipline speech, which we used to hear from kindergarten. Andrew and I do not look alike except for some features. Andrew has brown hair while I have light caramel. He has green eyes while I have amber. Andrew started the engine of our Chevrolet Equinox and within no minutes we entered our school parking lot. Without any efforts, we earned stares from people. The only reason behind it was Andy. He always gets great attention in school. I wonder if many would even know we are siblings because I am never in the spotlight. Girls literally drool over Andy, and he somehow enjoys that. Gross!
There they were, my sweet angels; like always, waiting for me near the school garden. The girl's brown eyes were looking around everywhere with her black hair flying due to wind. The boy had his green eyes glued to his phone. I didn't know why, but they somehow were ignoring me.
"Ok Andy, see you at lunch! Bye!"
"Bye Lia! Have fun and don't be too nervous!"
"You too! Byeee!""Hey babies! Hope you missed me in these fuckin' days of torture," They were back facing me as I climbed over their shoulders, annoying them.
"You wish! Who would miss such a person who has all-term memory loss?" asked a furious Sydney.
"Yeah, and you're a thief. I mean who steals someone's Chevrolet?" complained Zach, frowning and turning away.
"Guys it's a gift from mum and dad, okay. So just calm down."
"And you didn't think of telling this to us?!" both said in unison.
"You both were busy enjoying your break and even I forgot, having no interest in automobiles," I replied angrily, turning away.
"Hey you really did miss us, didn't you?" asked Syd.
"Of course I did dumbo."
"C'mere." We hugged so tightly that Zach just by watching us started feeling suffocated and was about to leave when I grabbed his shoulders and climbed upon him. We always used to do this. Zach Jamie Smith is one of my best friends. I have known Zach from kindergarten and haven't seen a boy better than him, my whole life. Though being doubted by Andrew, I never had feelings for Zach but he was someone more special than that. He can sometimes behave like a player but is mostly the sane one out of us 3. He really likes art and stuff. He has made brilliant paintings which he has sold and earned a whole lot of money. He is also good at physics.
Syd on the other hand, has been with us since 4th grade. The 1st time I met her, I instantly clicked with her. She is fun loving and careless. No one gets on her bad side if they don't want to get hurt brutally or die. She loves reading books, just like me and also likes to sing.
