Aurelia’s POV

I woke up with a cumbersome headache on Saturday morning.

“Oh! It hurts so bad.”

“Hey! You're up already. And yeah! It will hurt because you drank a lot. More than I usually drink,” Andrew said, entering my room with a glass of water and what looked like some medicine.

“Here! Have this. The aspirin will ease up your headache. You know what else, you puked on me twice when you were unconscious and our car became all smelly but thank me I cleaned it up so that Mom and Dad wouldn’t know that you drank for the first time. They’d kill me for not taking care of you.”

“Do you remember anything about last night?” he asked.

“I remember dancing with Airy, playing spin the bottle, dad’s phone call, and then drinking. I remember something related to beer pong, but I possibly wouldn’t have played that because I don’t even know its rules.”

“There you are mistaken! See this.” He showed me the Instagram feed of a few students from our school. Oh my god! How can I be so good at beer pong? I also saw at the end of the video how Aarold got frustrated and went away after my last winning shot.

“You have been officially named best beer pong player in our school,” Andrew said with a different voice.

“Whatever! When did you bring me home?” I asked.

“Ryder was looking for you and he didn’t find you anywhere so he called me. We both started looking around for you. After a while, he found you in the backyard. He carried you and put you in the car and now here you are!”

“Thank you!” I said, embracing him.

“No problem, after all, it’s siblings forever,” he said, hugging me back and kissing my head.

I suddenly felt sick so I quickly ran towards the washroom and puked out the drinks from last night.

“Told you don’t drink! Now suffer,” he said, shrugging his shoulders and going out.

I quickly cleaned up, sure to leave no traces of last night. I went downstairs to be greeted by everyone settled on the dining table.

“Hey!”

“Good Afternoon Aury!” Mommy greeted me.

“Come here, sweetie! So you enjoyed last night?”

“Yeah! It was good,” I replied to my father. I went and sat on my usual seat, near Andrew.

“What did you tell them!” I asked with gritted teeth while mommy and daddy were talking about stuff.

“Just told them you drank a little because someone gave you the wrong drink. You were a little bit tipsy so we returned home. Due to the drinking part, none of them woke you up and they understood it was normal for you to drink for the first time. They did scold me for not being around, but that dwindled. I left the beer pong and a lot of drinking part. Also, the blacking out part.”

“Did you tell them I puked?”

“No! That is only when people drink a lot. They’d automatically understand you drank so much.”

“You could have said something else about something else. Why tell them I drank?” I whisper.

“I couldn’t remember anything else and you should be thankful of me that I didn’t actually tell them how much you drank,” he defended himself.

“Whatever!” Then we talked about my mommy’s appointments and about other things.

I helped mommy clean the dishes. As today was Saturday, Mommy and Daddy both had a holiday and Saturday nights are always family nights. We spend our night watching movies i.e. 2 movies. On the 1st and 3 rd Saturday of a month, Dad and Andy pick the movies while on the remaining Saturdays, it’s mommy and my turn. Today, it was our turn. I had already chosen my movie.
