The week passed by rapidly and before I knew it, It was already Saturday.
"Lia, Wake up! We have to go to school."
"Today is Saturday Andy. Just shut up and let me sleep." I shouted not mentally realizing which day it was today.
"Oh, Shit! Coach had called us for the 1st practice after the break at 8:00. I'm gonna be late. Bye Lia! Meet you at lunch."
At the what !! Like him, I too totally forgot I had to go to Sydney's house and have lunch with her family. I laid in my bed for a little more time. The sun rays made their way from outside the world into my bedroom , through the decorated window. Then I woke up and went through my phone, ignoring the spaam messages, and like always wondered about the lock necklace which always stayed with me. After enjoying a long hot shower, I dressed myself in my regular denim shorts and a loose crop top with my light caramel hair tied up into a messy bun. I had my breakfast sweet and short consisting of a pancake and orange juice. Then I started doing my Calculus HW. It was easy so I completed it in an hour. It was 11 and much more time left so I started reading The Hunger Games from where I had left it. Oh man! You just can't get enough of it. This is like my hundreth time reading it.
I finished reading 5 chapters when the door swung open alerting me about the entrance of Andy.
"Hey sleepy head! Watcha doing?" asked Andrew, cleaning his forehead and getting rid of the sweat that was trickling down.
"Nothing, just chillin' and reading. So how was your practice?"
"Pretty good except all the boys had lost the stamina so the coach just made us do fitness. 25 laps of the field, 100 sit-ups, 70 pushups, 10 suicides and football routines. Pretty tiring huh! So what's for lunch?"
"Air" I giggled, diverting my attention, which had already returned to Hunger games when he was ranting about sports stuff I probably would never be able to even pronounce, towards him to see his reaction.
"Wait what! Really you didn't cook or order anything?" he asked, with an amused face.
"Nope," I said with a popping p.
"Go to hell! What am I gonna eat now?" he asked, frustrated as if it were only him who was hungry.
"I thought I'll be taking you to lunch with me but now as I'm going to hell, I won't."
"Hey you take things too seriously, I was joking," he said, playfully punching me.
"Keep those shitty hands off me. And I'm taking you to the Anderson's."
"No you are not and I'm not going there!"
"Why?"
"Seriously? Isn't it obvious that it's your best friend Sydney?"
"Sydney's a sweet girl. Oh! Or do you have a soft corner for her secretly?"
I asked, raising my brows and nudging his shoulder. He already knew my weaknesses and one of them was tickling. Suddenly he started tickling me and within no time I was screaming for help but mom and dad, not being home, I had to somehow stop it otherwise I would pass out."Stop of you want lunch! So you coming, right?"
He stopped tickling me and gave a childish nod.
"Good boy!"
"Yaa you already know how good I can be, don't you?" He said holding his signature smirk.
"Ewwww... Save those innuendos for your barbie dolls and don't even fuckin' daee to use them on me again!"
"That's what you say everyt time Lia, think of something new!" he replied, going upstairs to clean his sweaty body.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The long drive was quite funny as Andrew was giving me a detailed experience of his practice and how his friends and he were pissed at the coach. Andrew had a huge squad consisting of only and only boys. He is the closest to only two of them who are Dylan and Caleb. They are nice guys. Both of them, like Andrew, have good bodies and are pretty tall. Both have blue eyes which melt most of the girls in our school, just like the dumb pair of green eyes resting beside me. We finally reached Syd's bungalow.
