I slept only for 4 hours when I felt water being sprayed on my face. There he was, with a squirt gun.
"You moron! Wait till you stand over that cliff," I said, punching him hard.
"That hurt!"
"And that was cold!" I shouted back.
"Let's go. It's crazy outside," Cole said, holding my hand and bringing me to my feet. It was still dark outside. As soon as I stepped outside, water splashed over my whole body.
"That's not fair," I shouted, seeing the whole lot, pointing their guns towards me.
"Everything is fair in game," Aarold shouted and there it went again.
"Whatever!" I said, going towards Andrew, who was the nearest to the cliff.
"I don't care because we'll be swimming anyways," I said, pushing Andrew into the lake.
"Fuck Lia! It's like Antarctica in here," he shouted, as he landed into the lake. Everyone came near the cliff to watch that poor guy. Everyone was laughing at how he flailed in the air.
"Dude, that footage would have broken the internet," Dylan shouted, laughing his ass out.
I took the advantage and pushed Syd and Martha who were standing beside each other.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Both of them screamed as they flew down.
"You don't get to stay here after you pushed Martha," Zach whispered, before he pushed me down the cliff, turning my laughs to cries.
"Shit man! It's cold," I murmured. Syd, Martha and Andrew were a little away.
"I'll get you back for this Lia, but for now I want to enjoy it," Andrew shouted, splashing water towards me.
"You won't!" I shouted back, swimming towards them.
"You think they'll come?" Syd asked, looking towards the boys.
"They sure will," I replied.
"So, you enjoyed last night?" I asked Martha.
"Yeah! It-"
"I don't want to hear about how big he was," I said, closing my ears.
"Noo! We are just friends and nothing happened between us. Jeez! I just met him like a week ago," Martha replied. The vibe was decreasing. Maybe it was just the day.
"No but you 2 would be the perfect couple," Syd added.
"And so would you and Andy," I murmured, but I was sure Andrew heard me because the glare he gave me was something else. His cheeks tinged a light pink. Before I could speak anything, someone pulled me into the water.
"Help!" I shouted, holding onto Andrew's hand, which attempt was unsuccessful.
I went underwater and saw who had done that. I tried to land an underwater kick on his stomach. Tried being the keyword. I surfaced, gasping for air.
"WTF dude! You scared the hell out of me," I screamed at Ryder.
"The thing I wanted to do," he replied, casually. I looked around and saw the whole crew in the lake. We were still in our pajamas. Well, not all of us because the boys had taken off their t-shirts. Wet clothes are the worst, so I stepped out of the lake.
"Hey! Where do you think you're going?" Cole pulled me back just as I was about to get out. I landed on his bare chest. He did have 6 packs, but not as defined as the others. But it didn't make him any less cuter.
"Have some fun," he said, splashing water.
"It's cold and I hate wet clothes. Gives me 2 reasons to get out," I said.
