Surprisingly Ryder walked in. Come on I didn't forget my present when I remembered my past. He had a brown bag in his hand.

"Hey." He said sitting next to me.

"Hey."

"Come on you said you forgave me," he said.

"I did."

He raised the brown bag and removed two bags of marshmallows and a box of kit kats from it. He knew me the best.

"Omg! You're the best person in the world!" I said getting up and wrapping my hands around his neck. I hardly reached there.

"I already know that. Now don't run around the room like a maniac and rest," he said lifting me up and putting me back on the bed.

"Hide it from the doctors and won't I get a thank-you kiss?" he asked.

"No. Not even a thank you."

"Ok but you already said that." He said, smirking. Typical Ryder is back. "Anyways, rest okay. See you soon." He kissed my cheek and left.

I felt my face burning as I fell back on my pillow, thinking about his gentle touch. I quickly hid the marshmallows and kit kats below my pillow. I was bored and I didn't even have my phone so I could text someone. The doctor, Dr. Gavin came in and asked how I was feeling and he was pretty nice. He checked a few things and then gave me medicines. He said that no visitors were allowed after he went and my mood instantly fell. After eating the medicines, I felt sleepy. I slept for what felt like forever before someone walked in. I didn't open my eyes because I was really tired and it was already dark.

"Doctor?" I asked in an exhausted tone.

"It's me. I thought you'd be bored so I brought Netflix," I immediately recognized the voice.

"Ryder! What are you doing here so late? Visitors aren't allowed. You know that, right?" I whispered back to him because he was whispering too.

"I snuck in. Now, what do you wanna watch?" he asked, coming near me.

"What if you get caught?" I asked.

"I have connections," he smirked. I smiled at that jerk.

"Okay then. Stranger Things!" I squealed in delight because I hadn't watched it for days.

"What?"

"Stranger Things. Did you not hear me?"

"I meant that why do you like that? I know for a fact that you don't watch horror," he replied.

"Stranger Things is an exception. Now, will you please just put the 3rd season on?"

"Fine! How many seasons does it have? 5?"

"Are you serious? You haven't watched Stranger Things! Oh my god! We need to watch the whole thing. Start from the beginning," I said and he nodded with a weird look. He was sitting uncomfortably beside me so I made space for him on the bed and indicated for him to come beside me. It's not like we hadn't slept on the same bed before.

"Already want to sleep with me?" He asked with a smirk, lying beside me with his mac.

"Cockiness doesn't suit you," I replied, and that way we spent the whole night binge watching the 1st season of Stranger Things. Well, technically only half the night because he slept halfway through the 3rd episode and I slept a short while after that.

I woke up to find a note beside me.

I left for school. Take care and rest :)

I already knew it was from him.
