Aurelia's POV
I think this is the reason why the names and faces felt so familiar.
Everything comes flashing back...
"Are you really those guys?" I asked before realisation hit me of what I had asked.
"I'm sorry," I murmured. It's rude to ask someone if that person is someone we don't remember.
"It's okay Rory, we knew who you were. We thought you'd figure out who we were. Anyways it was a long time ago. Also, I wanted to thank you for saving me. My parents told me what happened and how I wouldn't have survived if I was rescued a little late. I'll always owe you," he finished with a wink which left me blushing. He noticed I was blushing so he nudged me.
"Oh come on! You don't owe me anything."
"Wait! How come we never saw you or your families after that camp? We had left the same day because Lia got discharged early," Andy asked. Looking back, I remembered that we never saw them again after the camp.
"Umm...We shifted to New York due to some business work. Our dads are partners and best friends like us so we travel together and live beside each other only. We had to move on a short notice so we couldn't tell you goodbye. But we are here again, together, aren't we? That's what matters."
"Yeah! I guess so."
"Alright kids, start having dinner and then we can play something."
"Oh! Actually I'll need to leave early, Mrs. Parker," Ryder said.
"Why? And you can call me Synthia dear," mommy asked.
"My sister's admitted because she was injured severely so I'll need to go to the Hospital after dinner, but thank you for the dinner."
"Anytime. Aarold, you'll stay right?"
"I think even I'll get going because by the time we'll finish dinner, it will be pretty late," Aarold replied.
"Ok dear, now come on, finish up the dinner,'' Mommy said, starting to eat.
Everyone started gobbling up the delicious dinner. I had tasted almost everything but I had kept the best looking thing for the last. It looked so yummy. I quickly picked it up and placed it in my mouth. The sweetness filled my mouth and an involuntary moan came out in response.
"You shouldn't moan like that Rory. I've told you before too. If you want pleasure, just ask," Ryder whispered, smirking.
"Ewwww! I just lost my appetite," I said, getting up and taking my dish to the basin.
Soon everyone finished dinner. I was doing the dishes and everyone else was in the living room.
"Aury, go and say goodbye to your friends," Mommy said, coming into the kitchen.
"I'll do the dishes. Now go," She said pushing me away.
I went outside to the driveway to see the two pulling over. Andrew wasn't there. It was just us.
"Bye Rory! Hope to see you..."
"Never!" I finished him.
"Fine! But that one hurt."
"Whatever! Bye Airy," I said waving to Aarold.
"What! Airy! I don't have air inside me nor do I look fat from any angle," he cried out.
"Oh! You do look fat from this angle." I said closing an eye and aiming.
"They are called biceps dear. Anyways, I'm gonna get back at you for that name. Bye Auly," He said. With that they took off.
Soon the weekend arrived. Like the last time, I had no interest in attending Nate's party. But after Syd forced me to come as she was alone, I agreed. I knew this was a very wrong decision but this was the only choice I had.
Once again Syd and I were dressing together but the only difference was this time she wasn't going to fetch me some new clothes. I fell on my bed so hard that my own head started spinning...
"Ow!" I cried stuffing my head under the pillow.
"Looks like someone's not in the mood to dress up." said Syd, glaring at me.
"I don't have clothes to wear at a party!" I shouted from under my pillow.
"Ms.Aurelia parker. You do have more dresses than me." she said, scanning my closet.
I remembered a dress which I hadn't worn anywhere else. Springing out of my bed I snatched it out of the closet and went to the bathroom. It was a cute, simple black and white dress which I loved. I got out of the bathroom to see Syd still exploring my closet.
"Ahem." I cleared my throat to get her attention.
"Oh my god Aurelia....!" she said with wide eyes and an open mouth unable to speak something.
"I know right." I said spinning around but before I completed my spin she completed the sentence...
"Who is dead? Tell me whose funeral are you attending?"
"Huh! I thought you seriously liked it."
And with that I again fell into my bed, arms open on my back.
"Hey! I think you'll rock this!" she said, holding a pair of black woollen crop top and skirt.
"You know I'm not gonna wear that!"
"Yes you are! And that is final!" she said closing my closet.
Well I found the outfit chosen by her very short but i didn't have any choice either therefore i ended up wearing that outfit. The skirt barely reached my mid-thighs and a little bit of my waist was shown, which I hated. After changing, I came out of my bathroom pulling my skirt down...
"Aury stop doing that you're looking gorgeous. And as always I'm gonna do make up and hair."
"Okay but only eyes and lips."
"Yes madam."
With that she put on liner, curled my lashes and applied mascara. My best friend really knew every single thing I liked or disliked. After applying a nice pink nude shade of lipstick, she let my hair flow down naturally curling them a bit here and there. My hair barely reached my waist.
I chose to wear my black stilettos which my aunt bought as a birthday present this year. I looked at myself in the mirror. Syd was right, i really looked pretty in that outfit. It hugged my curves perfectly.
We quickly went downstairs after getting dressed. Andy was our ride there. He was already sitting in the living room ready to leave, from an hour ago.
"What are you wearing, Lia?" he said shocked.
Of Course I never wore anything that revealed my skin so much and yeah he is one of those overprotective brothers. Before I could speak anything...
"CLOTHES!" Syd shouted. "You don't get to choose what your sister wears to a party."
Andy just ignored her.
"You know there are gonna be boys right, it's Nate's party." he said looking at me.
"She's not gonna change." Syd assured.
"Fine! I'm telling this for her own good. Anyways be careful."
"Ok daddy!" I said holding his arm and grinning at him.
Off we went. Nate's house was huge. You could see everything white in colour. We parked our car on the street beside and entered to be greeted by Nate himself.
