"So I will be the referee and you guys will play. I don't want to hear any buts," she said before one of us could protest. The way she spoke those sentences was just like a referee would speak it, in an authoritative tone. It was good to see this side of her. Her taking control.
"Fine! But next time I get to be the referee," Ryder pouted at his young sister. This is a different side of Ryder. I have never seen him so soft around normal people.
"Okay!" I smile at Lorelie.
And so we started playing.
We were hardly fitting on the mat. Most of the space was occupied by Ryder, pushing me purposely so that he could win.
"I am a pro level twister player Ryder. You can't beat me so easily," I reply to his constant tries of winning.
"You don't know about my skills Rory, just wait and watch," he replied, with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Right hand green!"
.
.
"Left leg Blue!"
.
.
"Right Leg red!"
.
.
"Left hand green!"
We kept on playing. It was quite entertaining as both of us are flexible.

"I've gotta pee! I'll be right back in a few minutes!" As soon as her words reached my ears to my brain, I was dumbfounded.
WHAT THE HELL! Did she get this urge only when we reached this part or rather when both of us are in this position?
Ryder was in the opposite pushup position and I was on top of him in a cat pose with straight legs. I was about to fall on him as all my body weight was on a single leg. I looked at Ryder who was staring at me.
"What?" I asked with an annoying voice. He was staring so intensely that I had to poke him to get him back on track.
"Nothing," he replied, shaking his head, as soon as his senses returned.
Where is Lorelie? Does she have to take so much time? This position looks something else from another angle. I know that for a fact. I saw Ryder was avoiding my gaze and any sort of conversation with me. Normally, he would have made a snarky comment or teased me at least once by now but right now, not a single word. It was like we were secretly in a staring contest. His blue eyes bore into my amber ones and didn't blink even once in the span of that time. I wasn't going to give up too, so I kept my eyes just as still as his. I would have left my place and stood up due to the increasing tension and the little space between our bodies, if I hadn't heard footsteps.
Thank god she's back.
"Hey Ryder! I thought-" Aarold stopped dead in his tracks when he saw us. His mouth opened slightly in awe and his eyes popped out.
"Hey! It's not lik-" I was interrupted by Aarold.
"I'll leave you guys to it. Call me when you finish, okay," he finished the last sentence, shaking his head towards Ryder and Ryder just nodded in response. Not wanting to embarrass myself again in front of anyone else, especially his family, I quickly stood up.
"Haha! I win. Told you I was going to win," he exclaimed, as soon as I picked up my hands and legs and stepped off the mat, to get some personal space.
