I was in the pool before I wished. How? My great bestie Zach pushed me right into the pool from behind.

"What the hell Zachy!" I exclaimed, surfacing above the water.

"You are so going down," I said as I saw Syd already pushing Zachy into the pool.
He fell right on me. Dumbass!

"It's your turn Syd!" Zach exclaimed, seeing Andrew do the same thing she did to Zach.
She fell right behind us.

"How you doin' Anderson?" Andy asked Syd, smirking.

"Shut up!" Syd shouted and mumbled something.

It was just us at this side of the house. Mr. and Mrs. Dalsy didn't want to swim so they were watching T.V.

"Hey guys come on over here!" Aarold shouted from the highest rock.

The pool was surrounded by small rocks. At one end the rocks went higher from where people could dive. At that end, there was a water slide and a mini waterfall. The lighting and the pool as a whole was amazing. We all went to where Aarold was standing. He was standing there as if he was the best diver in the world.

“I dare you guys to jump from here. So who's on?”

I was about to leave without anyone noticing but Ryder held me by my arm.

“Where do you think you're going Aurelia?” he asked me in a whispery tone with a smirk.

“I...uh...okay I'm not going to dive from here.” maybe I spoke a bit too loudly.

Aarold and others were listening to everything.

“Oh, are you afraid? Look guys Aury is afraid of diving!” Aarold spoke with others laughing.

“No, I'm not.” I said boldly.

Such a fool I am! I know I can't do this. But in front of others I needed to keep my impression bold. Who knew I was a kitten from inside who just looked like a tiger.

“Is it? Then I'm sure you can dive first right?”

“Yeah, sure.” I said.

Idiot! Idiot! Idiot! Okay that was my mind speaking.

As I climbed on the rock, Aarold got down giving me space. I closed my eyes feeling the cold wind on my stomach. I knew I could never jump from there. Maybe I was afraid of heights. Wait what? From when was I afraid of heights.

“Aury you jumpin’ today, right?” Aarold said from behind.

I opened my eyes and gave him a death glare. The last thing I saw before turning was Ryder giving Aarold a nod. And there goes nothing! I was soaked completely in water with my hands gripping some support. I cleared my eyes and opened them to see the support being nothing other than Ryder’s shoulders. I was maybe holding them too tightly because when I left, there were clear red marks on his shoulders.

“When did you come here? Anyways thank you.” I said completely oblivious to how Ryder reached the pool before me.

I got out of the pool, water dripping from my body and wrapped a white swimming robe around me. Soon everyone dived into the pool. After diving in the pool twice unknowingly, enough water entered my nose and ears giving me a huge headache with a cold. The process of sneezing had already started making my nose red which I hated. I look like Rudolph the reindeer whenever I have a cold.
