Lexi's POV
"Uncle Carter! Help!" Gus yelled convincingly.
"Gus, you're 17" Carter chuckled as we walked over to the ladder.
I felt truly awful for having to get my son to lie for me like that.
"He reminds me of Matt" Carter smirked putting the ladder back up.
"You should see Isaac" I chuckled trying to keep up the conversation, I just needed to signal from Phoebe.
My phone beeped and I pulled it out.
Phoebe: I'm as good as gone, thanks Auntie Love you
I sighed and Carter turned to me as Gus climbed down the ladder.
"What's up Lex?" He asked.
"They grow up so fast" I lied, shoving my phone in to my back pocket.
"No one can grow up as fast as you and Katy" he chuckled.
"That's because you and Nash were sucky twin brothers" I replied.
"Hey! I made up for it didn't I?" He laughed throwing his arm around me.
"Sure you did" I smirked and he ruffled my hair.
"Mom" Gus said when he reached the ground, he hugged me.
"Be careful next time okay bud?" I said, he raised his eyebrows and I gave him a look that said: play along, luckily Carter didn't see, he was too busy answering a text.
"I gotta run guys" he said, he seemed panicky and angry rolled in to one. I gave him a questioning look.
"Chris just texted, Phoebe ran away"
Katy's POV
The ride back was quiet except for the quiet chatter coming from the kids, we just dropped Mum, Dad and Mali off at the airport and Connor was asleep in the back while Justin and Sydney talked to Thomas and Alexis about god knows what.
"You okay Cal?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine" he said, he seemed a little tense.
"You don't have to worry about Connor, he's only a brother to me" I promised, he glanced at me from the corner of his eye.
"Promise?" He asked, I took his hand in mine.
"Promise" I said and he smiled.
"You're sure" he smirked.
"Obviously!" I giggled kissing his cheek.
"Love you Kath" he said.
"Love you too Cal"
When we got to the house I helped Thomas inside then went to wake up Connor as Sydney and Alexis skipped inside, Calum and Justin following behind them.
"Hey Con, we're here" I said shaking him awake, he yawned and rubbed at his eyes.
"Oh, okay" he replied and we both walked inside.
"I'll show you to the guest room" I replied and lead him upstairs.
Calum's POV
"Dad...who's that?" Sydney asked, I smiled a little because she called me Dad.
"Connor Franta, don't you know him?" I said.
"I think so, is he a friend of mom's?" She asked and I nodded.
"Why's he here?" Justin asked.
"He's having some trouble so we're gonna help him for a little bit okay?" I said to them and they nodded.
"Dad!" Thomas called from the living room.
"Yeah Tom?" I said.
"Gus just texted me, Phoebe ran away" he looked so upset.
"She ran away?!" Alexis asked running in to the living room, Sydney and Justin following behind her, Thomas nodded sadly.
"Don't worry Tommy, she'll be back soon I bet" Sydney said putting a hand over Thomas's, I saw Alexis look at them jealously.
