A short time later, Killian was startled awake. He listened carefully, not sure what had woken him. Tinkerbell sighed in her sleep and rolled over away from him. He eased out of bed, careful not to disturb his sleeping fairy, and quickly put his pants back on. He heard a soft knock on the door. He crossed the cabin and quietly opened the door.

Regina whispered, "I was just up on deck. The crew is asleep...well more like passed out drunk."

"Give me a minute and I'll meet you across the hall," he whispered back.

She nodded and walked to the door across the hall and quietly opened it and went inside.

Killian closed the door and turned around to finish getting dressed. He was surprised to see Tinkerbell awake and dressed already.

"You going somewhere love?" Killian asked, praying she didn't say with him and Regina.

"Yes I have a few fairy duties to attend to," she told him. "Don't worry I have no desire to help you and Regina dispose of Cora's remains."

"I wasn't worried love," he told her.

Chuckling she said, "Liar. Don't play cards for money with the wrong people...you have a tell when you're lying."

"Ahh well I never lose at cards love," he told her.

She stood up and walked over to him and gave him a kiss. "I'll be back in a few hours, sunrise at the latest."

"Alright love," he said, giving her another kiss.

Tinkerbell stepped back and was about to transform herself to her fairy form when she glanced at Killian's left hand - hand not hook. "Sorry I forgot to give you back your hook." With a wave of her hand, she swapped his hand for his hook.

"Thanks love. I was about to remind you," he said and then opened the porthole for her to fly out of. "I'll leave this opened a bit so you can get back in when you return."

"Thank you," she said, transforming and flying out the open porthole.

Killian finished getting dressed and left his cabin. He went across the hall and quietly knocked on the door. Regina let him in.

"So how would you like to dispose of your mother?" he asked her.

"In a way no one will be able to find her and link this back to us or somehow bring her back to life" she said.

"So burning her body to ashes it is then," he said. "Don't suppose you have a way of doing that here that won't cause my ship to catch on fire because a fire of that magnitude out in the open will cause much unwanted attention?"

"No unfortunately I don't. I can hide the fire outside with magic though. The fire has to burn too hot and for too long for me to try and contain it here. And I can't guarantee that the ship wouldn't catch on fire anyway," she explained.

"Okay then. Guess we better find a place far enough away from the village to keep from being caught," he said.

"I've got the perfect place in mind," she said. Then she walked over to where Cora's body still hung and began pulling the knives out of her body. Once she had removed the last knife, she unshackled Cora's wrists and let the body fall to the floor with a THUD.

Killian walked over and picked up Cora's lifeless body and said, "Damn love remind me never to get on your bad side. Shall we go?"

"Well I am, or was, I should say, the Evil Queen after all. And no you definitely don't want to be on my bad side," she replied.

With a wave of her hand, she transported them to the place in the forest she knew of. There was a ring of stones on the ground surrounding a clear patch of ground that was free of grass. In the middle of the ring was a post sticking out of the ground surrounded by logs
The post looked brand new and well used at the same time. Brand new cause it seemed virtually untouched by time or weather. Well used cause of the rope markings that were burned into the wood.

Regina floated Cora's body out of Killian's arms and over to the post. She straightened Cora's body upright and magically tied it to the post with rope. Then she said a concealing spell to hide them and the fire from others sight.

Once she was sure the concealing spell would hold, she asked Killian to set the fire. Using her magic, she intensified the heat and magnitude of the flames consuming Cora's body.

It took 3 very long hours for Cora's body to be reduced to ashes. The heat from the inferno was intense and Killian wished he could step outside of the concealing spell barrier to cool off, but he couldn't and neither could Regina, who wished the same thing. Once Cora's body was reduced to ash, the flames went out and the temperature inside the barrier dropped instantly. Regina called up a wind to sweep Cora's ashes away. Once all of the ashes were swept away with the wind, Regina dropped the concealing spell and transported Killian and herself back to the Jolly Roger directly into the cabin they had use to torture Cora.

Regina used her magic to clean up the mess and said good night to Killian and went to her cabin.

Killian locked up all the now clean knives and then went to his cabin. He entered quietly as he didn't know if Tinkerbell was back yet and possibly asleep. But he had no reason to be quiet, she wasn't back yet. He checked to make sure the porthole was still open enough for her to fly through and left a candle lit on the table so she could see when she returned. Then he undressed and removed his hook and lay down in bed. His final thoughts before drifting off to sleep were, "I hope she's back soon. I miss her."
