Friday evening, Rogers walks into the office to find Weaver working on gluing back together an antique teacup and Jade reading a file.
Rogers addresses Weaver, "I wouldn't have taken you for an antiques kind of guy." Then addressing both of his partners, "Hey, do you want to order some food and maybe work the candy-killer case?"
Weaver, very carefully reattaches a broken piece to the cup, says, "You're not really calling it that, are you?"
"Well, no, not me. Not me. The boys in the bullpen," Rogers tells him.
"No, I think we need a break. As my wife used to say, wandering another path often leads us where we need to go. Hence the teacup," Weaver says, as he fits another piece onto the teacup.
Jade closes the file she was reading and gets up, saying, "Well, in that case, I guess my path is leading me to the market. Since Tilly moved in, I've been going through a lot of jam. After that, I have no idea what I'm gonna do," purposely looking at Rogers as she says that. He nods letting her know he got her meaning, without letting Weaver know what's going on between them.
Rogers says to Jade, "I'll walk out with you."
"Enjoy your time off," Weaver calls after them, hiding his smirk since he knows exactly what's going on between his two partners.
Once Rogers and Jade reach their cars, Rogers asks, "So what are you doing after the market love?"
"Depends," she says coyly.
"Depends on what?" he asks.
"On whether or not Tilly wants to start the Marvel movie marathon we talked about last night at dinner," she told him.
"A Marvel movie marathon without me? I'm hurt," he says, pretending to pout.
"Hey if you wanna watch me drool all over Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan all night instead of you, you're more than welcome to come over," she teased him.
"Should've guessed you'd be crushing on Steve and Bucky," he teased back.
"Like you don't have a thing for Black Widow," she said, still teasing him.
"Toshay," he conceded. "Well if she doesn't, come knock on my door and we'll figure out something to do."
"Will do," she said. "Wish we weren't standing outside the station right now, I could really use a kiss."
"Same here. Stop by when you get home from the market and I'll remedy that need for both of us," he says.
"See you in a bit then," she says and climbs into her car and drives off.
A short time later, Jade climbs the stairs to her apartment, carrying several grocery bags. As she reaches the top of the stairs, the door to Colin's apartment opens and Tilly exits, thanking him for the chess match.
Tilly sees Jade and says, "Oh let me help you with those," reaching for the bags. Jade gratefully hands them over. Tilly walks down the hall with the bags, looking over her shoulder, she winks and says, "Take your time. I'll put these away."
Jade blushes a little and looks at Colin. He smiles and pulls her into his apartment and closes the door.
"She knows about us?" Jade asks.
"She guessed. I tried to deny it, but apparently, according to her, I had a 'big, stupid, silly, lovesick grin on my face.' It was hard to continue to lie after that," he tells her. "Are you mad?"
"No, she would've figured it out sooner or later with us living next to one another. I just hope she keeps it quiet," she says.
"She will. She promised she would. Now about that kiss we both need," he says, pulling her closer to him.
