Chapter 16

CHAPTER 16:

Emma's POV:

I just walk and look around. I look at a shop across the road and start walking towards it when I hear honking and am about to turn around to look when someone pulls me aside.

"What if something happened to you?" I look behind me and see Jeremy standing there. A few people stand on the road to see what's happening. I realise that I wasn't looking while crossing the road. I apologise to the driver and then it's just the two of us. I was just about to crash.

"Answer me, Emma? What if something happened to you?" He asks me again.

"So? Does it matter if I die or live?" I ask him.

"Yes it does. To me, it does" he says and for a second I believe him.

"Bullshit. Why are you here? Go shop with your girlfriend and leave me alone" I tell him off.

"Oh.. she wanted to shop alone" he says.

"So? You decided to follow me?"

"I wasn't following you. I just saw you two minutes ago." He says.

" Ya right" I say sarcastically.

"Where were you going anyways?" He asks me, trying to be casual. I raise my eyebrow, like seriously but then I decide not to be a bitch and just point at the shop I was actually looking at.

"Then? What are we waiting for? let's go!" He says and grabs my hand and drags me towards the shop. I can't stop staring at our joined hands the whole way to the shop but then I realise that now he has a girlfriend.

We go inside a shop and it has all the beach-y supplies like hats, goggles, swim suits, surf boards, etc.

I am looking around when I see Jeremy trying on a funky hat and pairs it with a pair of glasses that say 'boob'. And I can't control my laughter. He looks so hilarious! I take out my phone and start taking pictures of him, he starts posing like a girl.

Next, he grabs a hat with funny hair attached to it and puts another curly haired wig on me. I start taking selfies of the both of us in weird poses and outfits.

"Shhh!" The person working says to us, as apparently we are making a lot of noise. We put the things down and I see Jeremy walking towards the clothes section. He grabs something, hides it behind his back and walks towards me with a mischievous glint in his eyes. I look at him suspiciously.

"What do you have back there?" I ask him already dreading his answer.

"Something that you are going to try on and show me" he says and shoves me towards the trial rooms. He asks me to remove my clothes and then hands me the piece of cloth.

"Do you really want me to wear this?" I whisper-shout at him, over the door.

"Yes." he says. I am still unsure if I should wear it but then decide against it as I remember what Jules said. It's a black top that has a very low back and its sides are almost bare that I have to remove my bra.

I walk out of the room and see Jeremy sitting on the sofa going through his phone. He looks up when I walk out and he keeps staring at me, awestruck. I do a little walk for him, flaunting my body.
