Chapter 47

CHAPTER 47:

Emma's POV:

I wake up with a huge yawn. Not ready to get out of bed. I know I have to go grocery shopping but I am too lazy to get out of bed. I lay down for a few more minutes before I have to get out of bed.

I drag my ass to the bathroom and brush quickly and wash my face. After feeling more refreshed and awake I go to take a much needed shower. 

I am out of the shower within twenty minutes feeling amazing for some reason. I go in my closet and look through the clothes not sure what to wear. After a few minutes of looking around, I settle on wearing black jogger pants with a black spaghetti strapped crop top and a pair of white chunky sneakers.

I look in the full length mirror in my room. I look so similar to what I did a few  months ago. I think I need a change. Like maybe a hair cut but I can look for that later. But no doubt I look hot.

I put my hair in a low pony tail and grab my wallet and phone and go to the kitchen to cook breakfast. As it's still 11.30 so I decide to have a cup of coffee and the leftover pizza slice from a few days ago. Don't judge me! One can never say no to pizza.

Just as I am finishing up my coffee my phone dings with a message from Jeremy saying he is waiting for me. I grab my wallet, phone and keys and go down.

It's still pretty cold here and I regret not carrying a jacket. I almost run to his car and settle inside to find him getting out.

"Where are you going?" I ask him.

"I was coming to get the door for you" he says, shakes his head but starts driving.

"I can get my own door, you know"" I say in a 'duh' tone.

"I know that" he rolls his eyes " but I am a gentleman". He says in a boastful tone. Now it's my turn to roll my eyes.

"Ohh please, gentleman? And you? " I say in a teasing tone.

"Yess! You know it. I've been said that." he says and gives me a glance as he pulls in the parking lot of the grocery store. That was quick. I unbuckle my seatbelt and go to open the door to find it already open.

"My lady" he says and bows a little for effect. I shake my head and get out of the car.

"You're crazy" I say when we walk inside with two carts in hand.

"Crazy for you" he whispers in my ear and I widen my eyes for a second.

"Don't go all sappy on me" I tell him with a chuckle and he laughs along with me. He has such a pretty laugh.

"Now, are you going to buy anything?" I ask him after looking around.

"Just a few things" he says and shrugs his shoulders. I pull out a list of things and hand over the half to him.

"Good, then you buy these things I'll buy the other stuff" I say and am about to walk away when he pulls me to him.

"Why would I do that?" He says with a smirk.

"Because you love me" I say and bat my lashes at him. I kiss him on the cheek and run away from him, throwing a thank you over my shoulder.
