Chapter 14

CHAPTER 14:

Emma's POV:

I spend the sunday all to myself daydreaming about Jeremy and I. I have a bad habit of doing that. Jules and Ver had something to do so they left in the evening. Bella also had to leave with them as she came with them. The whole evening I feel giddy. I can still feel his lips on mine. I shake the thoughts and distract myself by calling my parents. It's been too long, so we talk for an hour or so and I go to sleep. I don't eat anything as I am too lazy to order and let's see, I am not that good of a cook.

On Sunday I cleaned the house again, I did my week's laundry and ordered lunch. I tried cooking dinner but it wasn't edible so I ordered dinner again.
Now, it's Monday. And I just reached college in time to see Bella walking in. I catch up with her.

"Hey Bells!" I say. She puts her hand to her chest.

"Gosh! Em, you scared me!" She says.

"Sorry" I say sheepishly, not sorry at all.

"So, what were you saying?" She asks me as she takes a seat.

"Nothing, I was just going to ask how your weekend was" I tell her.

"Oh! Nothing special! After leaving your place. I went home and had dinner..." She keeps talking about how her weekend was but I don't pay attention as I see Jeremy walking in. I don't think much and wave at him as he comes closer to the table we are sitting at. He gives me a smile sits two tables behind us. I wonder who pissed in his breakfast this morning. I am pulled out of my thoughts when I see Bella staring at me.

"You didn't hear a single word I said, did you?" She asks me but judging from the smile on her face, she already knows the answer.

"Hey bitches!" Jules says as she greets the whole group. I cringe a little at the curse word but don't say much.

"You look in a really good mood! What's up?" Bella asks her.

"Well.. this Friday we are leaving for Exmouth. We will be there for the weekend and come back Monday morning!" She says with a huge smile on her face.

"So, we don't have a say in this?" Jeremy asks her.

"Nope! Everybody is going and you are allowed to bring one other person with you." She says and takes a seat beside me. Before we can say anything to her, the professor walks in and asks everyone to quiet down.

The whole day passes by and I am a little upset that Jeremy didn't say a word to me the whole day and he didn't attend the World Religion lecture too. I am walking alone towards the library to submit the books I borrowed last week when I see Veronica pulling Jeremy towards the empty space towards two buildings. I am too curious, I do think about following them but then I see them looking around. I start walking towards the library like I never saw them.
I wonder what they were doing there? I overthink about it so much that on my way back to the apartment I almost kill a man on the cycle.

I profusely apologize and he lets me go after taking 50 pounds.

I can't sleep the whole night as I keep tossing and turning in the bed. And I fell asleep once but wake up with the nightmare I have been having for days. It's the same thing again and again.
