Wika ko at ngumiti. Kinindatan ko pa siya bago tumalikod.

I WAS RUNNING LATE! Hindi ko na napansin ang oras! Grabe? Ilang minutos lang iyon, kumain lang ako sa Canteen tapos late na ako ng 10 minutes?!

NANG makarating ako sa tapat ng pintuan, bigla ko itong binuksan dahil sa pagmamadali ko. Nagulat pa silang lahat.

"Sorry, I'm late," sabi ko habang hinahawakan ang dibdib ko, umaasang makakahinga ako nang maayos.

"Where have you been? You’re 20 minutes late," tanong ni Ma’am V, itinaas ang kanyang kilay.

“Ahmm, I’m really sorry, Ma’am. May kausap lang po ako,” sagot ko, lumalapit sa kanyang mesa.

"Personal issues ba 'yan?" tanong niya nang mas malumanay, pero halata ang pagka-abala.

“Medyo po,” sagot ko, pilit na ngumiti. Alam kong nag-aalala siya, pero ayaw kong pag-usapan ito sa harap ng lahat.

"Okay, basta't huwag na itong mauulit," sabi niya, tumango at nagbigay ng maliit na ngiti.

Pabalik sa klase, nag-umpisa na ang mga kaklase sa kanilang bulungan.

I've heard them talking about me having feelings for Ace for a long time. Oo, everyone's know cause I show my affection to him. Siya lang naman ang hindi nakakapansin.
