Hanahaki Disease is a fictional disease where a person who's suffering from an unrequited and one-sided love is coughing flower petals.

It's a painful sickness where a flower will start to grow in your heart and lungs. The roots and flowers will grow until you cough petals with bloodstains.

This disease cannot be cured unless the person you love will love you back. The flowers and roots can be removed through surgical operation but your feelings and memories from the person you love will be removed as well.
