"Are you sure about that young boy?" I nodded when Daddy asked me about that girl that Tito Gregorio introduced to us earlier.

She has this natural hazelnut set of eyes that can make every guy fall and beg on her knees.

"But you will go the military after you graduate in Senior High?"

"Yes Daddy, I know it. I have already my plans for it"

"Okay, sure no problem. Me and your tito Gregorio will discuss about this" I happily nodded to him and pat his shoulders before I go to my room and sleep.

I've been dreaming to meet Therese Marie again. It's just a piece of year between us but I know deep inside that I have this kind of feeling towards her.

1 years has passed and I graduated in Senior High, I immediately go to the PMA, to practice Military. Soon enough I learned the basic skills and rules and that is the key for me for our higher commanders to give me a title as the major of the 21st infantry batallion.

After a month, we transferred to Mindanao, particularly in Basilan. Matindi na ang labanan na nagaganap doon kaya kailangan na ang grupo namin upang tuluyan nang masugpo ang mga kalaban.

But the fight have not been started when I heard a news that the famous business man in Bicol Region is urgently looking for a personal bodyguard for her daughter.

I am anticipating while waiting for the reporter to reveal the name of the person who needed a bodyguard when she finally announce that it's their youngest daughter, Therese Marie Espinosa.

Nag-file ako ng pansamantalang leave to volunteer to the said job. Wala namang daw problem ayon sa nakatataas dahil my reason are valid and for the sake of the victims' safety.

But when I returned to Divinorstro, doon ko lang napag-alaman ang pagkawala ni Daddy. He's been looking for me for the entire year bago siya binawian ng buhay.

God knows how miserable my life is that time and that affects my job in securing the safety of Therese Marie.

Gusto kong saktan ang sarili ko everytime I remembered the failure I made that almost killed her. Sinisisi ko ang sarili dahil sa mga nangyari sa kaniya.

Wala akong magawa kundi pigilan ang pag-iyak na palaging nagbabadya, lalo na kapag pinagtatabuyan niya ako dahil sa palagi nilang pag-aaway ng nobyo niya.

How I want to shot that man with my bullet, but I know it will be worsen my relationship with Therese Marie.

Alam kong ayaw niyang umaali-aligid ako but the hell I care, because it's always a part in my job; to protect and guide her whatever she's going to do.

It's also a hell for me when she's gone for 3 days because of their camp. How I want to tail them but her Father refuse me to do it.

I already have my evidences to the real suspect who's behind of her unending threats.

Marami siyang natatanggap na mga sulat pero ni isa doon ay hindi pinapabasa sa kaniya. I am the one who is personally reading all her letters coming from unknown sender.

Natigil iyon nang mapatay ang unang bodyguard niya, dahil bago pa siya mawalan ng unang bodyguard, nagbabantay na ako sa kaniya noon.

Her father told me to do so and I obliged.

Sobrang sama ng loob niya nang mawala ang Daddy, at sinabi kong babantayan ko ang anak niya sa abot ng aking makakaya.
