millie's pov
I wake up to the sound of my alarm and opened my eyes with a light groan. I reached my hand over to my nightstand and shut off my alarm and went back to sleep.
I am in no mood to go to school but it's the first day so unfortunately i have to.
i see ava come running into my room with her stuffed animal and jumped right on top of me.
"millie wake up it's your first day!" she shakes me
"just let me sleep for 5 more minutes ava. and get off me" i pushed her off and she landed next to me
"well it won't be my fault you're going to be late." she huffs, getting out of my room
i groaned and walked to my bathroom slamming the door behind me and walked to the shower.
i took a quick shower and brushed my teeth and walked back out.
i change into a hoodie along with some leggings and walked out of my room. i put my hood up since i looked super bad because of last night and walked down the stairs.
"hey honey, it's your first day how do you feel?" my mum asked as i sit on a stool in the kitchen island
"great" i said sarcasticlly while getting my cereal
"oh come on, im sure it'll be a great first day." she smiles
i feel a small buzz on my phone and i take it out to read a text from noah

i shut off my phone and finished my cereal quickly before putting my bowl in the sink. a few minutes later i heard a honk from outside and i grabbed my bag before walking out of the kitchen.
"bye mum, bye ava, see you after school, love you" i give them a wave
"bye sweetie have a good first day" my mum replies
"bye mills" ava waves as i smile a bit
i shut the front door and ran to noahs car, hoping into the front seat.
"NOAHHHH" i gave him a big hug
"MILLLAYYY" he shouts
"i missed you so much" i mumble against his shoulder
"you litreally saw me last week mills" he chuckles as i pull back from the hug
"whatever" i shrug
i put my seat belt on as noah starts the car and begins to drive to school.
