millie's pov
It is now 7:30 am Saturday. As you remember I have detention and quite frankly I can't bring ava so I'm taking her to Finn's house so she and Brooklyn can have a playdate. This week has been fun, we suddenly got informed that Monday and Tuesday would be a day off instead of Thursday and Friday, the school wouldn't tell us why but who cares. Finn told me he wants to check some things off my checklist during that time but I don't know what yet. I guess I'll figure it out with him today.
I went to wake up ava and then went to the bathroom and got changed. I went downstairs to make waffles because well, to be honest, we're both tired of pancakes. I finished making the waffles and added syrup on to them. Ava walked in with a yawn and half-asleep.
"Hey how'd you sleep" I asked trying to lighten her mood
"It was okay"
"I'm sorry I had to wake you up this early"
"it's okay, at least I get to play with Brooklyn" she smiled as I laughed in response

We arrived at Finn's house as I knocked on the door softly as Finn opens the door
"hey, why are you still in pyjamas" I asked as I looked him up and down
"I just woke up okay"
"you do realise detention is at 9 right" I stated as I walked into the house
"yes and?"
"and you'll be late"
"I can get ready in under 10 minutes and speed to school, it's all good"
"Whatever you say"
I turned to ava and knelt down next to her
"you brought your iPad right"
she nodded
"okay call or text me if anything happens okay"
she nodded
"don't break anything and be good okay"
"yes millie, I got it"
"Okay I'll see you later baby girl" I kissed her forehead and gave her a hug
"bye mills" she said into my chest
I turned my head to see Finn smiling
"what?" I question
"nothing it's just you guys have such a great relationship"
I playfully roll my eyes and walk towards the front door
"see you in detention dickhead" I shouted as I reached my car door
"MILLIE"
