millie's pov
my alarm woke me up at 7:30 and all i could think about was i was seeing bazzi today! i quickly went to wake up ava and took a quick shower before walking downstairs to make breakfast.
i made pancakes and put some fruit on the side. ava walked in rubbing her eyes and i poured her a glass of milk.
"morning ava" i smiled
"morning mills" she said quietly, sitting on the kitchen island and eating her breakfast
"what's wrong ava?"
"nothing"
"i know that look, what's wrong?"
"i just had a bad dream, it's nothing"
"why didn't you wake me up?"
"well you looked so peaceful i didn't want to wake up" she frowns
"next time, wake me up no matter what okay? i don't mind" i smile as she she smiles back
we finished our breakfast and walked out to the car and drove to school. halfway through the ride, ava fell asleep so i carried her into school.
i was 5 minutes late but i don't think it matters anyway. i walked in the classroom carrying ava and i saw that sadie was about to speak. i motioned for her to be quiet and pointed to ava and she nodded.
i walked past principle harbour and mumbled a quick 'hello' before walking to the back of the classroom and sitting next to finn.
"just finish some unfinished work today or something, I'll be in my office" principle harbour says as he walks out the door leaving us all confused
"what the fuck, just happened" sadie says
"language sadie" i whisper-shout
"she's asleep anyways" sadie whisper-shouts back
"i don't care, as long as she's here, no swearing" i say glaring at everyone as they nod
i felt ava stir below me and i immediately knew she was having a nightmare.
"shh, shh it's okay ava." i whisper in her ear and rocks her slightly
"you okay?" finn whispers in my ear as i nod
i lay my head on his shouldar and he lays his head on mine, soon we both fall asleep as well.

"mills wake up" i felt someone poke my cheek repeatedly
"wakey wakey" i fluter my eyes open to see ava looking at me
"hey ava" i say quietly as she smiles
she reaches over to finn and pokes his cheek to make him up as i laugh
"dickhead, wake up" she pokes his cheek repeatedly
