millie's pov
court day. today's court day. i didn't want ava to go so i suggested she had a sleepover last night. that mark guy has been over quite a lot and i guess he doesn't seem like such a bad guy that i thought he was.
i'm getting ready right now, i decided on wearing a black skirt with a white button shirt and tucking the shirt in.
my face and legs are full of bruises and i wanted to use makeup to cover it but my mum said i shouldn't because it'll show the judges what he did.
i grabbed my phone and blade, placing the blade in my pocket and walked downstairs. i filled pascals bowl and i walked into the kitchen.
"morning mum, mark." i mumbled, taking my meds
mark kinda knows what's happened but we didn't say it straight he to his face.
"morning mills, how you feeling?" my mum asks
"like i'm gonna faint" i say tiredly as she gives me a bowl of cereal
"it'll be fine, don't worry" she gives me a reassuring smile
"i hope" i mumbled
"i'm sure it'd be fine millie" mark reassures me as i nod with a small smile
"finish up your breakfast, we're gonna be late" she says as i nod, placing the bowl in the sink
"bye mark" my mum kissed him on the cheek as i give him a wave
i picked up pascal, carrying her to the car as i sit down in the front seat, cuddling pascal to make me calm down.
"honey you need to calm down" my mum says, starting the car
"i'm trying" i kiss pascals head
after about 40 minutes we arrive at the courthouse and i take a deep breath before exiting the car.
i was about to walk in with my mum but i heard someone call my name.
"finn?" i turn around
"not just me." he motions to the whole gang and i run over to hug them all
"we're here for moral support" finn smiles as i give him a quick kiss
"thank you" i say to finn, "and thank you guys for coming" i say to the gang as they nod
"your welcome" sadie smiles
i look at the entrance of the courthouse and back to the gang, "it's not too late to ditch right?" i ask as finn laughs
"come on, let's get you inside" he kisses my cheek
i walk in and i see chief hopper as he shoots me a smile making me give him a wave in response.
"how you doing millie?" he asks as i shrug
"not bad. stressed" i replied as he nods
