millie's pov
i quickly ran home knowing what was going to happen next but that didn't scare me.
i reached my front door hoping that my mum wouldn't see me and i opened the door slowly and quietly to see my mum in the kitchen.
i quickly ran up the stairs to find ava in her room and k slowly opened the door to see ava crying in the corner.
i quickly shut the door and ran over to her, kneeling down besides her.
"ava what's wrong?" i ask as i hug her
"mum she-" she got cut off by a sob
i rubbed her back in a comforting way and kissed her head softly.
"ava i need to go out tonight how 'bout i drop you off at sadies okay?" i ask
"i don't want to bother you" she sniffles
"ava it's okay. i love you okay?" i hug her closer
"i love you too mills" she mumbles
i gave her another kiss on the head and pulled back from the hug.
"you want to watch a movie with me?" i ask as she shakes her head no
"I just wanna sleep. sing to me?" she gave me the puppy eyes as i laugh at her knowing i can't say no to that face
"okay. what do you want me to sing?" i ask
"beauty and the beast!" she exclaims
ava always had a thing for beauty and the beast. she has always loved the enchanted rose so i would always get her one to cheer her up hen she needed it.
she always talked about how beautiful it was that a girl could fall in love with a beast. it didn't matter on his looks, it was his heart. that was what she would always say.

and just like that, ava was sound asleep
i walked back into my room and picked up a picture frame as i walk to my bed.
i was a picture of me, ava, mum and dad. i miss the old him. i miss my old family. i want to have a normal family but we all know that's not going to happen.
i felt a teardrop drop on the picture frame before a waterfall of tears did.
i dropped to the floor crying as i picked up my blade of the nightstand and dragged it across my arm twice as blood gushes out quickly.
i didn't bother stopping the blood as i got onto my bed. i didn't see the point to.
minutes later, my eye lids start to get heavy and soon i fall asleep
