millie's pov
"mills?" i hear finn whisper from beside me as i hum in response
"i'm off to school, i'll see you later" he kisses me as i nod
i hear finn open the door to leave as i fall back asleep.
after about 3 hours, i hear a knock on the room door. i groan, kicking off the sheets as i walk towards the door. i open it to see a nurse standing there as i furrow my eyebrows.
"morning millie, i brought you breakfast and i need to tell you a few things" winona says as i nod tiredly, walking back got bed.
"uh you can leave the food on the table, i'll eat it later" i yawn as she nods
"so millie, we see that your progress has been good and you're doing well on eating solid food after weeks so you'll be able to leave the hospital today. but only if someone comes and picks you up" she says as i nod
"did you call my mum about this yet?" i ask as she shakes her head no
"okay, don't tell her please. i really don't want to talk to her" i say as she nods
"but someone has to pick you up" she says as i nod
"yeah i know. is that all?" i ask as she nods
"yeah that's all, i'll see you later" she says before walking out as i lay back on the bed, falling asleep.
i fall asleep for not long until my phone starts ringing. i don't even bother turning my body as i grab my phone from the nightstand, not even bothering to look at the caller id.
"whoever you are fuck off, i'm trying to sleep" i groan
"mills! oh my god guess what!" i hear finn scream from the other side of the line
"me trying to sleep" i reply sarcastically
"no! principle harbour got egged!" he laughs as i let out a chuckle
"that sounds hilarious finn but i really want to sleep when i can so can i call you later?" i ask
"yeah yeah of course, sweet dreams mills" he says as i laugh, hanging up
i lay back on the bed, falling asleep.

i wake up around noon and i grab the food from the table. i walk back to the bed, grabbing my phone to facetime finn.
after the first ring he picks up and a very happy finn pops up.
"mills! you okay?" he asks as i nod
"uh finn, nurse says i can leave today but someone has to pick me up. i would call my mum but i don't want to speak to her right now so can you like speed here after school? you know so i can avoid her" i ask
"so you want me to basically kidnap you?" he asks as i nod
"yeah sure, i just don't want to speak to her okay? please" i give the puppy eyes as he nods
