millie's pov
"millie, are you okay?" sadie asks
"i'm lying in a hospital bed, you tell me" i sigh
my water broke early in the day. i'm only 39 weeks and i think that's early since a 40 week old baby is completely grown? i don't even know.
well anyways, this is what happened.
i finished my painting whilst finn makes dinner downstairs. yeah it's early but we're both really hungry.
i hang the painting on the wall to let it dry and walked downstairs to the living room.
i was about to walk to the couch until i felt some sort of liquid between my legs.
"FINN!" i shout
"what!? what's wrong!?" he panics, running into the living room
"i think my water just broke" i say, not daring to move
"w-what!? you're not due for like a week and a half!" he says
"you know babies can come early right!? now help me!" i scold as he nods, running off
"okay i have everything" he puts a bag on his shoulder and puts a towel on the floor
"be careful" he holds me hand
"uh shoes! you need shoes!" he says, putting a pair of shoes on the floor and i quickly slip them on
"does it hurt? are you okay?" he asks, leading me to the car
"they just feel like period cramps" i groan as he helps me into the car
"oh that means i get sushi today! hell yeah!" i say excitingly
"and we get to see our daughter" he says, starting the car
"okay that one hurt. drive!" i smack his arm as he nods, driving away quickly
"right. gaten is at the vending machines getting food by the way" sadie tells me
"that's the usual" i breathe out
i see my mum and mary walk in which means ava, brooklyn and mark are also here.
"did you just call everyone?" i ask finn who was now getting his hand crushed by me
"i got excited" he says as i let out a light giggle
"can i just get this baby out of me?" i sigh
"one day i'll look back at this day and tell everyone how giving birth was for you" noah says
"tell them it feels like they're putting bricks on your stomach and you're about to push a watermelon out of you" i breathe heavily
"millie!" i hear ava and brooklyn shout
"hey" i give them a small wave
