kim hongjoong: sophomore. outgoing and very friendly, even when he knows others aren't being as nice as he is. gay. has a slight developmental and learning disability, so he tends to act slightly younger than he really is. best friends with wooyoung and yeosang. (hongjoong's character is loosely based off one of my close cousins who i love, so it means a lot to me <3)

choi jongho (for the story's sake, kim jongho): junior. hongjoong's older brother. usually nice towards hongjoong and his friends when he's with them, but will sometimes make fun of them behind their back with his friends. "straight". best friends with seonghwa, san, mingi, and yunho.

and yes, this story is also loosely inspired by one direction's song "end of the day", that's why i titled the book that. i hope you enjoy!
