Loki and Nico were sitting on the counter in the kitchen, bored as all hell and eager to get into some trouble. Loki decide it was a brilliant idea to go through the pantry for anything eatable. They managed to talk their brother into the idea, Nico getting the door open and the pillaging began. Unfortunately for them most of the stuff was closed and they lacked the appendages called hands, wrists, and opposable fingers. That didn't stop them from knocking as much stuff over at they possibly could. Bags, cans, boxes, it was all fair game for the two kittens. They only stopped when they heard the door creak open. Looking down they saw their dad looking at them with an unamused expression.
"Loki, Nico, come down here," he said in a frighteningly calm voice.
Nico whimpered and jumped down, Loki gulping before leaping down with their brother. They then walked out of the pantry into the living room where their other father was. They sat down, the kits' parents sitting in front of them while the kits sat in shame. There was a thick silence in the air as their fathers waited patiently with judging eyes. It only lasted for a few minutes until the tension got to Loki and she broke.
"Okay we're sorry," Loki sighed, staring down a her paws.
"Sorry for what, might I inquire," her dad asked, tilting his head ever so slightly.
"For going into the pantry and knocking stuff over," said Nico, also looking at his paws.
"And will you do it again?" their over father asked, his mismatched eyes staring into theirs.
"No sir," the twins said in unison.
"Good,"
Their parents then left.
"They have weird ways of getting us to confess," commented Nico.
"It works though. Almost in a scary way," countered Loki.
"Definitely,"
"Without a doubt,"
