Ronnie looked out of the window while Russell told him the random news from home.

"How is she?" he asked serious, cutting his father off.

"She and Willow are doing good." he said sighing and added with a smile "Little Willow is so adorable, she has my heart."

"I wanna see them." he said determined.

"You will." he said carefully "You just have to deal with this very carefully."

"She's still pissed at me." he said regretfully.

"She's been through rough shit." Russell said and added "People are ruthless with their comments." Ronnie nodded "I'll show them." and added "I have so much shit to fix."

"I'm glad you're seeing things clearer."

They drove to his dads home where his stuff was brought after his apartment lease contract ended. He couldn't just go and march in there and demand to see his daughter. He was scared to face her. Scared of facing the truth and reality. So he often was parked outside of her house or work place to watch her. It hurt him to see that she struggled daily basis too.
He was determined to sort out his life, starting from his old room. He sat there, in the middle of the boxes, looking some old photos until he got mad and stood up, grabbed the nearest box and flew it out of the window, yelling "FUUUCK!" and trashed the room, roaring and shouting out. He fell on his knees, feeling suddenly so tired. He knew what he wanted. But having it meant that he had to get his shit together first. Not to my daughter, he thought, trying to focus on good. After some time he took his car keys and marched out to drive to Sam's place. The last and probably the only place he wanted to be before he hit the rock bottom. He hit the breaks in front of her house and marched out.

"Sam!" he knocked nervously on the door, ringing the doorbell "Samantha!" He stepped back when the door was unlocked.

"Ronnie!" Sam's mother was at the door, confused, bit afraid.

"Where is she?" he said stepping in without an invite.

"You can't be here, Ronnie." Sandra said trying to grab his forearm when he walked up the stairs. He stood in place, his eyes piercing through her "I can't see my daughter?" and added "Who are you to deny me that?!" and continued walking to Sam's apartment.

"I'm Sam's mother." she said. He punched open the apartment door "Sam!"

"Be quiet!" Sandra shushed him, whisper-yelling "You're waking up the baby!" He looked around, the place looked different. Not because he was sober but she had been renovating it. His thoughts were distracted by a quiet whimpering coming from the crib next to the sofa. He took slow steps towards it, his breath shivering, pulse throbbing in his ears. The moment he laid eyes on the baby, he felt like the air was sucked out of him. He stared at the little human-being swaddled in a blanket. His mind was overflown by emotions and thoughts but it seemed like he had lost the ability to talk. He leaned closer, hearing her whimpering going more restless and he felt the urge to take her in his arms.

"You shouldn't..." Sandra said but she was cut off by him lifting his arm, motioning her not to bother. He looked at her and said "I have every right to be here." trying to keep calm, but he was going insane in his mind. He turned to look at the baby again and took a hold of her, checking his arms.

"Careful." Sandra said quiet and added "Support her head." He took her on his arms what seemed like in slow motion. Sandra helped him to reposition his arm when a tear fell on her hand. She looked up, seeing tears flowing down from his eyes. He covered his eyes with his free hand  and pinched his eyelids "What the fuck is wrong with me?!"

"It's okay, Ronnie." Sandra said soft. He shook his head. Sandra put her hand on his shoulder and squeezed it "It's going to be alright. You hold on to it, okay." He nodded, keeping the sobs in, but the tears ran free, silently. Suddenly they heard a car parking and someone coming up the stairs, talking.

"It's Sam." Sandra said alarmed. He dried his eyes with his sleeve and listened. He could hear some male talking to her. "Who's with her?" he was already pissed, clenching his jaw. Sandra wasn't able to answer cause the apartment door opened and Sam stood at the door, in shock, a guy standing behind her "What's wrong?"
