The kiss made things more awkward. In two days they had sent some random messages according to the doctors visit, he also had facetimed to see Willow.

"Okay, I guess I'll uh.. see you tomorrow then." he said glancing her.

"Yup, 10 o'clock on the dot." she said overly energized, trying to hide the awkwardness "See ya."

"Bye." he said and ended the call. She flew her phone on the sofa and gave a kiss to Willows forehead, cooing leaning closer to the babybouncer "You heard that, daddy's gonna come with us."

Next morning she got themselves ready. She decided to go with the flow, thinking We have a baby together, for fuck cake! It would be only natural..

She drove to the clinic, excited about the visit, Ronnie coming with them. She listened his songs in the car, singing along, not being able to get over the fact that this man with an amazing voice is the father of her child. She sang along, glancing in the rear-view mirror, saying between songs "This is your daddy singing."

She parked the car and took Willow out with her safety seat and walked towards the clinic. Will he be there? she thought looking over her shoulder in case he tries to sneak up on her or something. No Ronnie. She stood to wait there, looking at her wrist watch from time to time, already nervous. Nervous that maybe he's not coming, or he's late. She also checked her phone, no messages. Few minutes before she went inside to register and to find the doctors office. Sad, thinking that he probably wont make it.

"Willow?" the doctor opened the door and smiled "Hi."

"Hello, doctor." she said smiling slightly, The disappointment was evident in her face. But then she heard her name yelled on the other side of the corridor. She snapped her head towards the sound, seeing Ronnie running to them.

"Hey!" he said panting.

"You're late." Sam said bit annoyed.

"I'm here, aren't I." he said and pointed her to go in the office. She sighed and went in, giving the safety seat to him. The visit went good, Ronnie was looking everything the doctor did with Willow, calming her, holding her hand. He was proud, hearing that Willow had been growing and learned new things. He sat next to Sam, holding Willow in his arms and stared at Sam, acknowledging that this was all of her doing. She had managed to raise this baby along for some time, making Ronnie imagine what they could achieve together.

Sam listened to the doctor, nodding, holding Willows hand. She could sense his stare on her but decided to listen to what the doctor was saying.

"Thank you for everything." Ronnie said, shaking hands with the doctor. He was proud of his little daughter, he felt happiness, a new kind.

They walked towards the exit. He was carrying Willow, Sam was carrying the baby carrier. He looked at her, sensing she was pissed.

"Are you still pissed that I was almost late?" he asked grin on his face.

"Almost late?" she looked at him, annoyed with his grin "Ronnie, you were late."

"I'm sorry, okay." he said helpless.

"You should've texted me." she said moping.

"While driving?" he asked challenged, making her huff "No. I just.." she sighed "Don't be late again."
