Chapter 31 : Wildest love

- I promise you, we will leave this damn country, had told her Kid.

He didn't lie. Two weeks later, they were gone. Lanniya and Kid were more openly close. The crew started to spread some rumors about them being a couple, but Lanniya didn't care anymore. It was the truth after all.

In the following months, they attacked other ships and went on with their pirate life. She loved it. Kid and Lanniya were often making out outside at night, when everyone else was asleep. They had a perfect chemistry, pretty wild. They were always teasing and flirting with each other, making themselves madly in love for the other. Their nights were either sweet or hot. They would either cuddle until they fall asleep or make wildly love to each other to fall asleep against each other's skin, panting.

Their relation started to be well known. The name of Crane started to get more attention from the Marines and the population. The first ones were still hesitating to attack her and she didn't hesitate to tease them every time she had an opportunity. The others saw her as a powerful member of the Kid's pirates, that was not the kind of person they wanted to mess up with.

Nothing was going wrong. Their priority was to find a remedy for Killer. It was almost impossible, but they wanted to try. Even if Killer was slowly accepting his condition, Kid didn't want to let go, and so did Lanniya. It surprised Killer.

- Why are you caring that much about me ? he asked one day.

- Why wouldn't I ? You are my lover's best friend and an essential member of our crew.

- Yeah, but we are not really in good terms.

- Oh, please, forget it. We were both dumb at the beginning.

Lanniya stopped for a while and looked at him with a sorry look.

- Even if I'm not really fair with you, what happened to you is just unbearable. I can't let you like that.

Even if he had still a little bit of anger towards her, he was touched that she cared about that. She did everything she could to make his life easier. He started to get used to this situation. He even managed to befriend a girl. It was probably even his girlfriend, but he never told them anything like that. Probably because he didn't want to be teased because of that.

Her life was good. She had money, a good life in freedom and a wonderful crew and boyfriend. Lanniya even received news from her family. It had been almost three years since she joined Kid's crew. Olek would be nineteen. He told her that he had taken the sea with some of his friends. Lanniya answered that he was completely fool to leave when Tirsa was not even an adult yet.

In his answer, he explained everything. Tirsa had joined a school for girls and didn't live at their house anymore. She didn't know what she wanted to do next. Apparently, she talked about becoming a Marine, thinking that it would be funny to meet her siblings on the sea, but on different sides. It kinda made Lanniya nervous, but she thought that Tirsa was only thirteen. She had time to think further about it.

Lanniya packed the letter in her pocket as Kid went to see how she was doing. She caught his face and kissed him deeply. He didn't say a word and smiled. As long as she was happy, he was too, and she was the best partners in crime. That was all that mattered.
