Chapiter 13 : You and me

The party life they had been having started to be a little too much for Kid. He decided to have a last party and then concentrate on the Yonkos' chase. Lanniya had decided to not drink this time. She was tired of this game with Kid. She chose to not be there.

As the party started, she was somewhere at the back of the ship, playing on a little guitare she bought for fun. She was pretty bad with it, but at that moment, the only thing she wanted is something to occupy her for the next hours. Meanwhile, Kid was drinking alcohol and looking everywhere, searching for her. Killer went to sit beside him.

- Not trying to get one of the girls ? he asked.

- Where is Lanniya ?

- Somewhere. I heard she didn't want to come and just wanted to spend time on her own.

Kid cursed and drank on. He wanted to take advantage of the party and the fact that they would be both partially drunk to flirt with Lanniya and maybe finish the night together. He was upset of her mindset. Killer knew after some time that Kid was not in a good mood, so he went away. For a while, he just watched the party bitterly while drinking on his own. But he ended up going to look for her.

She was still at the back of the boat, smiling at the moonlight. It made her pale skin shine. He had never seen Lanniya that beautiful. He would've given everything to take her in his room and take care of her like she deserved. She turned around and saw him, tipsy, walking loudly towards her. He still looked so strong. The moonlight made him look like a huge shadow but he still managed to look sexy. He sat beside her, much closer than he usually did.

- I've been waiting for you, Lanniya.

- Really ? she said a little bit flirty. Did we set up a rendez-vous or something ?

- I thought you liked drinking, he said, throwing away his empty bottle.

- Oh, for that.

She stood up disappointed.

- I'm tired to drink. I thought I could have my way, but it doesn't seem to work.

- What are you trying to get ? he smirked.

- Why would you care ? she turned to him.

He was very close. He seemed to have a hard time to focus on her face. He licked his lips and replace her hair.

- Don't know, he whispered. Maybe I can help you get it.

She went closer to his face. She wanted to make him snap.

- You bet, you can.

His hand wandered to her back. She couldn't go back now. He seemed to understand where she wanted things to go. Their faces were only inches apart.

- Kid ? Where are you ?

Killer was calling him and was coming on this way. Kid quickly stood up and went to him, not wanting him to see them in such a position. Lanniya sighed, deceitful, and went back to her thoughts. After a couple of minutes, a drunk sailor came to her.

- Crane, Kid wants you in his room.

As she turned to him, he stumbled and fell. She managed to catch him and lay him somewhere and go away. As Lanniya entered Kid's room, he was sitting but stood up as he saw you.

- Wanted to see me, captain ?

He looked at her from head to toe. He went to face her. He didn't have his coat which meant he was bare chest.

- Yeah. We got interrupted didn't we ?

Her back touched the wall. She was stuck, but she was not afraid. He took her hand and put it at her head level, tangling his fingers with hers. He went always closer to her and she lifted her head to look in his eyes and to reveal her neck. His other hand grabbed her waist and he smirked, knowing that she would not fight him. She climbed on her tippy toes and grabbed his neck to kiss him. It closed the gap between their bodies. He forced his tongue into her mouth to play with hers. Her hands started to wander on his chest and his back. It made him crazy about touching her and having her. His hand went under her shirt.
