A Birthday Letter

Hey dear, happy birthday. 

It seemed that you are well-loved today and I am glad for you. 

There are things I wish I can still tell you.

In a long letter, just like I did last year.

But I know that I no longer have the rights to. 

First of all, I was the one who secretly delivered food to your place.

Yes, the 2 Starbucks Cakes - Signature Chocolate Cake & Red Velvet Cake for the Birthday Boi.

I hope you liked it.

I heard that you were getting annoyed because you couldn't think of who would have done that.

I am sorry if it seemed like I was messing around with you, but I think it is for the best that you not know. 

To be honest, it isn't that hard to guess that I was the one who did it. 

You know I love quirky surprises and sweet snacks.

I wonder if I ever crossed your mind haha.

Do you remember that handwritten letter I wrote for you last year on your birthday?

The one you told me that you were touched to tears?

I wonder if you still kept that letter. It was a letter I wrote with all my heart and love for you.

Things have changed, but nothing has changed for me since back then. 

I would have written the same letter for you today, but without that paragraph on you always being there for me.

I hope you doing better than the last time we talked. I hope the talk, everything that happened and time has helped you to clear your thoughts and feelings and gave you the closure you needed. I hope you are able to move on just fine right now. 

I know that we might not have ended on good terms as you expect and wish them to be.

I might have dreaded you and said harsh things to you.

But I really want you to know and remember still, 

That you are still one of the most amazing and precious people I ever met and knew.

Maybe you and I were just an unlucky coincidence that was not meant to be,

But always remember that you deserve the best. 

Thank you for everything, even if it was short-lived.

You are one of the best things in my life.

As much as I really wish to always be by your side, I am really sorry that I can no longer be. 

But always remember, 

that there is a girl far away who will always love you unconditionally and have your back.
