Merry Christmas! Hope that you guys are enjoying Christmas with your loved ones :)

Ahhh... Christmas reminds me of you. We never spend Christmas as a couple before but Christmas 2018 officially started our friendship journey. The first incident which sparked our way to love. I wished I could have spent Christmas 2019 with you too, but I guess not. 

Count your blessings today, they say. We are nearing the end of 2019. You say thank you. I want to say...

Thank you too, my dear. 

You will always be dear to me. You will always mean a lot to me. 

My first love, my first hug, my first kiss. 

Thank you for being the first person who endured my vulnerability, insecurities and sensitiveness. 
Thank you for being the first person whom I truly opened up and trusted.
Thank you for being the first person whom I can truly be me when I was around you. 

Unfortunately, we won't be able to make it into 2020 together. 

But that's alright. 

Thank you for making the last year of this decade such a memorable and wonderful one for me. 

I will cherish each and every memory I made with you from the bottom of my heart and start afresh in the new decade. Let's take this as an experience and a lesson. Let's both embark on our own separate ways and never have anything to do with each other anymore. I wish you well and may you find the happiness you deserve. 

I will always love you, but I will learn to be happy without you too. 

I know it makes you happy to see me happy. So do I. 

Thus, thank you for letting me go and freeing the both of us. May we both find our happiness.
