As soon as you woke up, you knew it was going to be one of those days. You didn't feel like getting out if bed at all, but you had to finish your homework. You turned to the side, expecting to see your boyfriend Drew laying next to you, but he wasn't there. You sighed. You grabbed your phone from the night stand and saw that he left a note on it.
You were sleeping so peaceful. Didn't want to wake ya. I love you. Be back around 6. x Drew
Great. You would be by yourself for the whole day. You scrolled through Instagram and TikTok and then made your way downstairs because you were hungry.
"Good morning." You looked up and noticed Rudy sitting at the table.
"Morning. Don't you have to be on set?"
"Not for another two hours." You nodded and grabbed a cup from the cabinet. You weren't paying attention that well and another cup felt down, bursting on the ground.
"Shit," you mumbled as you saw a piece in your foot. The tears welled up in your eyes. You were already so done with this day.
"You good?" Rudy asked you.
"Yup. Just got a piece of cup in my foot," you sarcastically said. Before you knew it, Rudy was right next to you.
"Damn, that is a big piece Y/N. I think we need to get to the hospital to stitch it up," he said to you.
You shook your head. "No, no way. It will probably heal by itself," you said and pulled the piece out of your foot. But it was bleeding way to much.
"Stay here," Rudy instructed and he left the kitchen. You wanted to grab the other pieces, but you figured it was probably for the best if you left them alone. Rudy came back with a towel in his hands and duct tape.
"Is there anything you need before we go to the hospital?"
"My wallet. It's on the nightstand and maybe a hoodie from Drew." Rudy nodded. He wrapped the towel around your foot and wrapped the duct tape around it so it would stay in place.
"I'll be back. Don't move," he said and ran off again.
In the end you got seven stitches on your foot. You weren't allowed to walk on it for ten days because the stitches could tear open, so you got crutches home.
"I need to go now, okay. Call anyone if you need something," he said.
"Will do that." All of this costed Rudy to be late on set and a worried Drew. He wanted to come home to be there with you, but he couldn't leave. They still had some things to film. You said you were fine and that you needed to do your homework anyway.
You were laying on your bed with your laptop on your lap while you worked on your homework. You were about to finish it when your laptop went black.
"What the hell," you mumbled. You tried to turn it on again, but nothing was working. You had your charger in it, so it couldn't be that your laptop was low on battery. The tears welled up in your eyes. You didn't even save the document. You had one thing left to do! How could this happen in one day? Wasn't the stitching up enough? You got out of the bed and searched for Drew his computer, but you couldn't find it. You called him, but he didn't pick. Your homework needed to be done in an hour. You quickly emailed your teacher to explain what happened, but all she gave you was two more hours to turn it in. Like that was helpful!
Drew called you back an hour later. You were just laying on the bed and crying. You were just done with everything.
"Hey, you called? Is everything okay?" You brought the phone up to your face as you realized he was FaceTiming you.
"Why are you crying?"
"My laptop broke down and I can't find yours."
"I've got it with me." More tears streamed down your face.
"I have to finish my homework in two hours and my laptop won't turn back on again! That stupid teacher only gave me two more hours. How am I going to finish it before that time?"
"I'll be done in an hour, so I can help you then?"
"Okay."
"Madelyn is going home right now, so you at least will have some company."
"Okay," you said again. You weren't really in the mood to see anybody beside Drew, but you weren't going to tell him that.
"I'll see you in an hour. Love you."
"Love you," you said and hung up the phone. It would be so much stress to finish the assignment in an hour, but you just had to deal with it. You would just turn in what you had. It would be better than nothing.
"Y/N, wake up." You felt kisses on your face. You slowly opened your eyes and looked right at Drew.
"Hi," he smiled at you.
"Hi," you mumbled and you rubbed your eyes. Did you really fell asleep?
"How are you doing?"
"I'm having a shitty day and am not in the mood for that stupid assignment," you said as you sat up straight in bed. Drew sat down next to you. He pulled his laptop on his lap.
"Do you want me to write it?"
"Please." You told Drew what it had to be about and he wrote the whole assignment in just half an hour. He turned it in for you and then put the laptop aside.
"All done." He laid down and opened his arms. You smiled and laid down in his embrace. He kissed you on the head.
"But how is the foot? Rudy told me you got like ten stitches and it would stop bleeding."
"I got seven and it bled for a while. But it's fine. Pain meds are doing a good job." Drew laughed.
"But how even in the world did you managed to get a piece in your foot?" He continued laughing.
"Don't laugh! It's not funny. It just fell from the shelf. It was the start of my very very happy day," you said sarcastically.
"At least I'm here to take care of you now."
"You better do," you smiled and kissed his cheek.
