Summary

You finally move to a new city and meet a cute blonde haired guy.

After years of dreaming and working your ass off, you were now finally moving to Charleston, South Carolina. You always loved how the city looked and you went on many vacations there, only to end up moving here after two years of saving. You were walking through the town with your earphones in. You put a different song on, not paying attention to what was happening around you. You bumped into someone and you got coffee spilled all over you.

"What the-." You stopped as soon as you met the eyes of the stranger who threw his coffee over you. There was a cute blonde haired guy looking at you.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry," he said. You quickly pulled out your earphones. "How much was the shirt? I'll give you money so you can buy a new one."

"What? No it's fine." You looked at your shirt. It was totally ruined and you would never get those stains out of a white shirt, but you couldn't care less about it. It's an old shirt.

"No, I ruined your shirt. Take this, please," he said and held out money for you.

"Honestly, it was an old shirt. Probably should've being in the trash already." The blonde hair guy sighed and put the money away, probably knowing you weren't going to accept it.

"Can I at least buy you a coffee? For old times sake."

"Eh, sure." It couldn't be that bad. You would get a free coffee and you would meet someone new in the city.

"When do you have time?" He asked.

"Once I have a different shirt on," you laughed.

He laughed with you. "Fine by me. Which way?" To your house? Oh god this boy had already won over your heart.

"This way," you said and turned around.

"So, are you new here?" he asks.

"Yeah, just moved from Austin, Texas."

"Cool." You nodded.

"What about you? How long have you been living here for?"

"Just a few months. I'm leaving in a month or two to move back home."

"You don't like it here?"

"No, I do, but being away from family isn't really my thing." You only nodded.

You arrived at your apartment. "Don't mind the mess. I'm still unpacking," you said as you opened the door.

"I'm used to a little mess. Living with three other people makes every other mess seem like nothing," he joked. You walked in to your apartment.

"I'm going to change," you said and disappeared into your bedroom, leaving the boy in your living room. You quickly changed into a new shirt, fixed your hair and then you walked out again. He was still standing in the same spot you left him.

"I'm ready to go," you said.

"Cool. There is a place down the street where we can go."

"Sure. Lead the way." The boy and you walked out of your apartment as you made your way to the coffee shop. It's crazy how you would never do this back home. You wouldn't even talk to the boys here, but with his guy it feels different.

"So, what kind of work are you doing?" you asked.

"I'm an actor," he smiles.

"Cool. Any movies or series I could know you from?"

"Probably not. I've never done anything big. Just a music video and a few short movies."

"That sounds pretty cool to me. What are you filming here?"

"A series for Netflix."

"That is very cool." The guy smiled as you walked into the coffee shop. You ordered and sat down in a place in the corner.

"But what about you? You know what I do for work and why I am here. So what about you?"

"I've always liked this place. I like the architecture and how you're in not a big city but still in a city and the sea is pretty close. There's so much diversity and that's exactly what I need. Now I'm going to figure out what to do next. I want to be a writer, but it's hard to earn your money with that."

"Yeah, same is with acting. You don't just have to have the skills to act, but you also need to know how you can make your way into the industry."

"Exactly! I've been writing since I was about twelve and of course made a lot of progress but I don't know. It would be cool to write for film, tv or theater."

"If you ever have a project, I'm down to help you!"

"Thanks. I really appreciate it." You both get your coffee. You talk about your home towns, family, friends.

Before you know it, you've had three cups of coffee and your stomach hurts from laughing.

"Wait! I've never got your name," he suddenly said to you.

"Y/N. What about yours?"

"Rudy. It's nice to meet you, Y/N."

"It's nice to meet you too, Rudy." And from that moment on, you knew he was going to be in your life for a little longer.
