Baby - Drew Starkey

Today is finally the weekend that you're going away with Drew his family. You're going to spend the week in a cottage in the woods. It was a long trip, but you were finally at the cabin. It is the cutest thing ever. It's very big, but something you'll find on Pinterest. The cabin is made of wood and the trees around it almost look like it's straight out of a movie.

"We can still go back home," Drew said as soon as he parked the car.

"Are you serious? I've been looking towards this for months! Why do you want to go home?"

"I don't, but my family can be weird."

"I know. I've been around your family before."

"I know, just never a week. What if..." there is a knock on the window that interrupts the conversation. When you look out the window you see his brother Logan waving at you with the biggest smile on his face.

"This is going to be a long week," Drew mumbled and he opens the door. You put your hand on his.

"I love you," you said. He smiled at you, quickly kisses you before he gets out the car. You follow him and greet his brother.

"Good to see you again Y/N," Logan said as you hug him.

"Good to see you too! How have you been?"

"Very good. Rachel and I have been here for the past week so that has been fun! How is the city?"

"Great! We couldn't wait for this holiday." Logan starts to laugh.

"Just embrace yourself." He laughs and walks off.

"Brookie!" I turn around and see Brooke getting out of the car. Drew and I both grab out bags out of the trunk and walk over to Brooke, who just gets out of her car.

"Drew! Y/N! It's so nice to see you!" She said and both hugs you. Her boyfriend Jacob and Mackayla get out of the car too. We all greet each other.

"But where is my little niece?" Drew asked and you could already see the sparkle in his eyes.

"She's still sleeping in the car." Brooke opens the car and gets the Maxi Cosi out of it. Drew smiled as he looked at his niece.

"She looks likes she grew a lot since I last saw her."

"It's a baby, Drew. They grow a lot." Drew and Brooke talk about babies while you all walk inside. Their parents arrive last. They had some trouble finding the place.

The parents, Todd and Marie, were out with Mackayla to shop for groceries. Logan and Rachel were out walking, so it was just you, Drew, Brooke, Jacob and the little Rosie. You were sitting next to Drew while he was holding Rosie. She was holding his finger and Drew had the biggest smile on his face.

"She's just a cute baby," Drew said while stroking her cheek.

"Wait till it's feeding time or night. She will cry and not sleep. She's not always this cute," Jacob said.

"She just likes me very much." Drew pressed a kiss on her cheek and she opened her eyes. She yawned and it was the cutest thing ever.

"I could watch her all day," you mumble while leaning with your head against Drew his shoulder.

"And smell. Why do babies always smell this good?"

"It's a baby thing probably," you say.

"It is. but can you watch her for a few seconds? Then can we set up everything upstairs," Brooke asked.

"Sure. We'll take care of her." Brooke and Jacob both walked upstairs while Drew and you still looked at Rosie.

"We should make a baby of our own." Drew looked up at you and right away you can tell that he's serious.

"You want a baby?"

"I do. Do you?"

"I do. Right now?"

"Right now. Well, after we drop Rosie back off with her mom and dad." You laughed.

"Maybe we should wait until we get home."

"Or we do it here. It would be a good story to tell." You rolled your eyes and started to laugh even more.

"We'll try." Drew kissed your cheek and you smiled while you both looked back at Rosie who was sleeping peacefully.
