Summary

You're Toppers twin sister and you get into a fight.

Being Topper his twin sister wasn't always fun. You got into a lot of fights, because you didn't agree with all that he was doing. He was getting high, getting in to fights and most of all, he was bothering your friends. You were the surfer kind of kook. You spend every free time at the beach on the cut, because the waves were better there. That was also were you met your friends: John B, JJ, Pope and Kiara. They knew you were a kook, because they had seen you around Topper and his friends before. But they still gave you a chance. You grew closer to them and got into more fights with your brother as he kept bothering them.

"Why do you care so much about what I do Y/N? It's none of your business."

"It is when you're harassing my friends! How would you feel if I started to beat up yours? Would you be happy with me then?"

"Friends? The pogues are your friends?"

"As a matter of fact, yes they are." You've never told your brother that you're friends with them. You didn't want him to get even more angry at them or at you.

Topper started to laugh. "You can't exactly call them your friends. Oh I can't wait to hear what mom would say about this."

"You tell her and I'm going to tell her about everything else. I will tell her how you sunk the boat, how you act at parties. Who do you think she would believe? Me or you?"

Topper narrowed his eyes. "You wouldn't."

"Watch me. Stay away from my friends, Top. The same goes for your buddies." You quickly grabbed your backpack from the floor and hurried to your car. You got in and drove to John B's place as fast as you could.

You hated getting in fights with Topper. He was your other half and it didn't feel right, but you just couldn't ignore the fact that he was bothering your friends. He was acting like he was way better then everyone else and you had enough of it. But it still bothered you and walking away like this was something you hated even more.

You parked the car next to the van and got out.

"Y/N! How have you been?" You heard JJ yell as soon as shut the door of your car.

"Fine," you sighed. They had enough to worry so you never told them about your arguments with Topper.

"You sure? You look..."

"Exhausted," you mumbled. You let yourself fall on the couch next to JJ as you looked at the dock, where John B and Pope were fishing.

"Wanna... talk about it?"

"Nah, I'm good," you said and leaned against JJ. He wrapped his arms around you and you sat like that until John B and Pope came to you.

"Y/N! Glad to see you here," Pope said.

"You down for the kegger tonight?" John B asked you.

"Sure. At the boneyard?" He nodded.

"I hope the damn kook will stay away, no offense Y/N," Pope said.

"None taken. They will stay away from now on," you said. They all looked at you.

"What do you mean?" John B asked.

"What did you do?" JJ asked.

"Nothing unusual. Just told Topper that he needed to leave you alone or I would come after him."

"You shouldn't have done that," JJ said.

"I can take him, you know that. He should bother someone else. I'm sick of it."

"Is that why you have been so quiet?"

You nodded your head. "It's not the first time that it's happened, though. He just need to mind his own business and he should go bother his own friends instead of mine."

"You two get into fights a lot?" Pope asks.

"Jup. Recently it's almost daily. I don't get why he's acting like he's better then everyone else. He acts like he is the king and everyone should bow for him. He's not even working or something. He just get all his money from mom and she even gives it to him. But he always gets to blame for stuff he didn't even do, so I don't get it. Why doesn't he stick up for himself? Why does he let mom walk over him like that? Why is he bothering you? Why is he being such a dick to everyone?"

"Is that how you think of me?" You turned around and saw Topper standing next to the porch.

"Shit," you mumbled.

"We'll give you guys some privacy," John B said and dragged his friends inside with him.

"Is that really how you think of me?" he asked again.

"To be fair, I do. You're my brother Top. You're literally the other half of me, so it's really hard for me to say all of this to you, but I do. You're acting so weird, like the world evolves around you, like everyone should bow for you. Why? Why do you hate my friends? Why do you bother them and why do you act the way you do?" You looked at him.

"I don't hate your friends. It's just... I don't know. Mom thinks I'm some piece of shit. I just... don't know to be honest."

You stood up from the couch and walked towards him. "From now on, please promise me that you'll be nice to them. That you'll do good for others too."

"I promise. Can we stop fighting? I'm sick of it." You laughed.

"Me too, brother." You smiled and hugged him.
