The basketball season started on Wednesday. We performed the choreography that I helped choreography and it went well. Today was the football teams first match, which meant mine and Rachel's first game as Cheerleaders and Mason's first season game at USF.
The Football team and Cheerleaders stood in the tunnel. Normally, the Cheerleaders would be on the field early, entertaining the crowd but here at USF, we do not do that. We walk out just before he players walks out.
Both teams warmed up already and stood in the tunnel. The other teams cheerleaders were on the field already but USF Cheerleaders stood with the players.
"Are you going to be my good luck charm today?" Mason asked pulling me in for a kiss.
He leaned up against the wall while I leaned against him, with my arms around the back of his neck and his arms around my waist.
"Mason!" Coach said, calling him.
"Coach?" He said pulling away from my kiss to look at his coach while still holding onto me.
"You better leave her and that goes for all the players. It's almost game time, leave the girls! You damn, teenagers." Coach said slightly pissed.
"You better kiss them now, because after the game they're not going to want to be with you anymore." One of the players from the other team said, while they walked out of the locker room and lined up opposite our players.
We just ignored him.
"Good luck." I said kissing Mason again before the Cheerleaders went onto the field.
We ran out doing flips and cartwheels, while others just ran and waved. The band started playing the song that always plays when the players walk out and we did the same dance that we always do, it was a tradition. We lined up at the 40 yard mark standing next to each other in a straight line going down close to the 20 yard line on both sides with a gap in the middle and the players would run out, through the gap, pass us and then we'd move behind the bench.
We performed at halftime and did fairly okay, one of the flyers slipped and fell but she's okay.
USF won the game 32 - 25 with Mason scoring most of the touchdowns. This was my first time actually watching him play because most of the time in practice we are also busy and practice is not the same as in the game but he was actually really good. Extremely good since this is only his second year playing Football.
Yesterday, Rachel started hanging out with a football player. His name is John, Joseph or Joe, it's something with a 'J', so we went with some of the players to celebrate since Mason and Mr J will be there.
We went to some burger place down the street, close to campus, it was always filled with USF students.
We sat in a booth with Dylan, Greg, Oswald, Justin, Trevor, with Rachel and her guy and Mason and I. The booth was too small, so I sat on Mason's lap, Oswald on top of the backrest of the seat and Rachel sat with her legs over Mr J.
Rachel and I went to the bathroom for a second ... for a second and when we got back, they were making so much noise. To be honest, we could great them from the bathroom already.
"Yo, Kelly. When you get bored of Mason hit me up." Oswald said as we got to the table.
"Yeah Oswald, maybe I will. I heard you're really big." I said but showing small with my hands and the guys burst out laughing at me, as I sat down on Mason's lap again facing the guys.
