I walked into the studio and most of the dancers were there already, which meant a lot of eyes on me as I walked in. Plus the butterfly garden in my stomach, I'm surprised I didn't trip and fall or something. The crew consisted of eight dancers; three guys and five girls.
Rehearsal started by me introducing myself and talking about my dance history (the basics) and then as a warm up, we had a cypher (a cypher is when dancers make a circle and one dancer at a time goes in to dance in the middle.) then a quick stretch and Brandon started teaching choreography for a competition that was coming up in a few weeks time.
The song was Stoopid by 6ix9ine. The competition was a street competition, so Brandon wanted the choreography to be street as well. The dance was Krump mixed with Urban or open style (depending on which term you use)
We just learnt the dance and Brandon wanted to start placing causing all the dancers to mumble and complain.
"Oh come on!" Brandon screamed harshly as his voice got deeper "I already mentally placed you while you were learning. So if you just want me to place you based on that then fine!" Brandon said slightly pissed.
All the dancers got up and auditioned for spots. Auditioning with choreography we barely knew yet. I got placed at the back at first, as expected, but later on in the dance I'm lead, with Dinno and Brandon next to me.
After rehearsal, I just wanted to take a shower and get into bed but that plan was quickly eradicated by a knock on the door.
I opened the door slightly to a very happy looking Mason "Hi" he said smiling but I just groaned and closed the door "Wait, I have pizza and donuts." He screamed before the door closed completely and I stuck out my head "What kind of pizza?"
"Half chicken half Hawaiian and Krispy Kreme donuts, glazed and assorted. Also, I have an iced coffee for you." He said smiling. I guess he's good for one thing.
Food. I mean food.
I smiled and opened the door.
"This is my roommate, Sam. I'm going to take a shower and I'll be back." I said before leaving him in my room. When I got back he was cuddled up in bed with my teddy bear and Sam was on her bed doing homework with earphones in.
"You look comfortable but you are laying on my spot." I said grabbing the coffee and mentally attacking him until he moved.
"Girl, I got you pizza, donuts and coffee. The least you can do is let me choose a spot." He complained.
"I could have taken the food and left you outside, so let's call this an improvement." I said flashing an innocent smile.
His usual smirk returned before he spoke "I'm still not moving, so I guess you're just going to have to climb on top of me."
"How about you get out, along with your dreams." I said pointing to the door before taking a sip of my coffee. Sweet mother coffee, this is good.
"Do I get to leave with the food?"
"Not at all." I said giggling.
"You a problem, you know that." He said before he moved over and I climbed onto the bed, towards my teddy. He laid facing the tv and I sat in the corner with my legs over him. We finished our first movie and most of the food but Mason demanded that we watch a horror movie next. Now, I'm not saying that I hate horror movies, because I actually love watching them but I normally refuse to sleep alone afterwards.
"You getting cold?" Mason asked, not even aware that I was shivering. He signaled for me to lay in his arms but I declined. He moved closer to me and sat up slightly, placing his hand on my thigh.
