Hush child these are wounds not scars. Let me stitch you back together and help you heal, let me fix your broken heart. Cause I see the pain you're hiding. You may think I'm blind but I can see how hard you're trying not to break, so let me open your eyes to show you the light, the worlds not as bad as you think it may be. It's worse. But don't you worry dear, I'll protect you. Wont let it tear you apart like it do to me. I am small and weak but when life catches up and your problems surround you, I'll burn bright like a flame and keep the darkness away. We'll watch them run and laugh in the face of sorrow and despair. I've got you bae and wont let you go. You're safe in my arms, this I know. So cry your tears of crimson, I'll dry them one by one. They ain't nothing more than drops of blood, they can't hurt you unless you let them win. You gotta be strong cause when my mistakes catch up, I'll be breaking apart and right then, in your arms, is the only place I can be if am to keep my sanity. So let me stitch up your heart, you can keep the needle and thread, cause when life breaks me apart, you'll need it for mine instead.
Stitch me back together
Or watch me fall apart.
