Take the Fall
Meg and Marianna

The broken pieces of her world went up in smoke like fireworks
she expected to fall but never knew how much it'd hurt
Her life is crashing down around her and she finds it hard to breathe
the burden of bitter mistakes weighing down on her dreams
digging her nails into her skin just to know she's still alive
music drowning out her mind, it's the only way she can survive
her mind is a prison, she cannot escape these bleak hopeless walls
her legs are week, she needs a savior, catch her before she falls
Along comes a hero in disguise, sent to find and rescue her,
Now her world's less like stormy Jupiter, and is now more like Earth.
She is finally opening up, her heart a book to read,
the darkness is gone, she's taken control, it's now HER life to lead
Standing at the edge of recovery, ready to take the dive,
she made the choice to fall back to the light, which brought her back to life
Because of her climb out of the abyss, she no longer feels so small,
she's no longer cowering in a corner, but now is standing tall.
