A Long Walk To Pittsburgh Part 2

Two long weeks have passed since Topy left and to say that Cory and I missed her was an understatement but Shawn was trying to keep my mind off it.

With his hands resting on my hips while mine was in his hair tightly and our lips were moving against one another's.

It was Shawn and I on the Matthews couch beside a girl, Rosie, who was supposed to be on a 'date' with Cory.

I pull back from Shawn taking a small breath in. "Wow, Shawn. You really want to move fast."

"What a rushy boy," Rosie noted making me giggle.

"Indeed he is," I agree.

Shawn chuckled. "A rushy boy?"

"Since my sister and I came to America, we haven't really been on many dates, you know," Rosie told me.

I nod. "Me too. I mean, for the past two weeks or so..."

Rosie giggled. "So I suppose we both have a little catching up to do."

I nodded in agreement while Shawn laughed, "Did you hear that, Cor?" He imitated Rosie's accent. "They have a little catching up to do."

I look to Shawn. "You wanted me? You have me," I say with a small shrug, resting my forehead against his.

Rosie spoke to Cory, "Well, I suppose anyone can sit on a couch, but you were clever enough to choose the cozy chair." She stood up by Cory's chair, rubbing his shoulders.

Cory got uncomfortable suddenly (which I understood because they weren't broken up) but he picked up the phone and stood up, "Hello, Topanga. How are you? I miss you. I miss you so much."

"I didn't hear the phone ring," Rosie stated, sitting back on the couch. "Did you hear the phone ring, Betty?"

I sigh sadly. "No, I did not."

Shawn stood up and grabbed the phone from Cory, pressing the decline button causing Cory to say, "You hung up the phone on Topanga!"

"I hung up the phone on nobody," Shawn stated. "The phone has to ring for somebody to be on it."

"Not when you're in love."

"Or nuts," Shawn replied. "You're killing me, man."

"I haven't done anything," Cory said.
