I shook my head, watching Shawn and Cory live through the fantasy of senior year.

"Huh. This is pretty much how I imagined it," Cory stated, now snapping out of it and looking around.

"Yeah, yeah. Me too," Shawn added.

I chuckled. "I'm sure it is," I say. "Well, if you're done now, we have classes to go to."

"See you later," Shawn told Cory as I looped my arm with my boyfriend's, seperating from Cory to go to class.

"In your dream..." I spoke. "You made out with the history teacher? Really?"

Shawn just shrugged in response.

At the Matthews' home, Cory, Shawn and I enter Cory's room that was missing a bed and all of Eric's stuff.

"Guys, I've been waiting for this my whole life," Cory stated. "Eric has gone to college and the room is mine. All mine."

Shawn pointed to Cory's desk. "What's with all the candles?" he asked.

"Oh, those are for Topanga," Cory answered. "Those set the mood."

I picked up a candle sniffing it. "It looks like a church in here," I joke.

"You're ruining the mood," Cory told me.

I let out a small laugh. "Sorry, Cor," I told him.

"Finally, you know, I'm no longer a guest in this room. It's mine." He pointed to a framed photo on the wall. "You see that picture? Mine. You see that wallpaper? Mine."

Two men entered carrying a bed. "Who's queen size bed is this?" one of them ask.

"Mine!" Cory exclaimed happily.

As they placed down Cory's bed, one of them asked, "First room to yourself, huh?"

"Maybe," Cory answered.

As they left, he said, "It comes with the industry standard 20-year warranty. And remember, no means no."

Once they were gone, Cory turned back to us. "You know, guys, I can feel it. We're seniors this year. We're unstoppable, baby. This is gonna be the best year of our lives!"

Suddenly the door opened and Eric came in with a dufflebag. "Daddy's home!" he called.

Just like that, Cory's grin fell. "Eric, what are you doing here?"

Eric looked around the room. "You didn't get rid of my bed, did ya?" he asked.

I look to Cory. "You were saying about being unstoppable?" I ask.

As we entered Chubby's, my hand held Shawn's.

"...Betty, all I'm saying is we're seniors, we're close to adults now," Shawn continued telling me.
