"Handa ka na ba sa koronasyon kamahalan?" 

Nina asked me while she helped me get dressed into my wedding gown. Nina is my lady-in-waiting. She's young, barely eighteen pero lahat ng trabaho sa palasyo alam na niya. She has served Mernia, Hera's child and the late Princess of Water Kingdom since she was barely five.

Hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin ako makapaniwalang ikakasal na ako!

Parang kailan lang noong una kong nakita si Daniel sa paanan ng gubat. I was too scared for Nikolai's safety that I did not look at him. Muntik ko pa siyang nasaktan, I was about to used my voice on him dahil sa pag-aakalang kalaban siya. Though it happened three months ago, pakiramdam ko kahapon lang iyon nangyari. Pero tuwing nakakasama ko si Daniel, it felt like I have known him my entire life. It's contradicting but that's what I feel.

Two weeks ago, naging abala kami sa pag-aayos sa bayan. One fourth of the town got destroyed, pati na rin ang kagubatan dahil sa nangyaring gulo. Habang abala si Daniel sa pag-aayos pati na rin sa paghahanap ng pundo, naging abala ako sa pagbisita sa mga namatayan, sa mga batang ililipat sa Orphanage at pati na rin sa pagbisita sa mga kawal sa Infirmary.

I shuddered remembering Kyle and Han's state.

Kyle was screaming, moaning about the pain that never goes away. Daniel summoned every healer we have pero walang makapagsabi bakit nasasaktan ng husto si Kyle samantalang naghilom na ang sugat niya.

Han on the other hand was quiet. Kung hindi ko pa alam ang totoong nangyari sa kaniya, aakalain kong natutulog lang siya. But that's the problem. He's sleeping but not waking up. Kahit anong gawin namin, he won't wake up. It's like he's dead but also not. He's not breathing, not moving, not waking. Daniel's eyes were always filled with sorrow and regrets after everytime we visit Han and his other comrades.

It took a week bago tumahan kakaiyak si Niko. Napalapit na sa amin ang mga kawal ni Daniel lalo na si Han, kaya ang makitang ganon ang kalagayan nila, it broke us.

We tried to explain to Niko that Han is still alive. But it was difficult lalo pa at the only indication that Han is indeed alive is when he groans in pain for a second every few days. Nothing more.

Hindi namin nabigyan ng sapat na atensyon ang kasal at kuronasyon dahil sa dami ng inaalala namin. Good thing Aira and Rose helped. They took care of everything. From the wedding gown and other wedding preparations.

Akala ko noong una, Maya would helped too. Sa kanilang tatlo kasi ito ang lumaki na Prinsisa but surprisingly, she doesn't like dresses. She helped Bason and the others build the town instead.

Sa kabila ng pag-aalala ko sa lahat ng problema it still felt so surreal. Parang kailan lang at nag-aalala pa ako kung saan kami matutulog ni Nikolai at kung saan ako maghahanap ng Halsent para may pangbili ng pagkain. Tapos ngayon, here I am readying myself to marriage. To a King nonetheless.

The pale blue dress hugged my body perfectly. It was the most stunning gown I have ever laid my eyes with. Puno ito ng maliliit na diyamante na kumikinang kapag nasisinagan ng araw. The fabric felt so soft too. And its stretchable kaya nakakagalaw ako ng maayos. The sleeves are adorned with diamond dust that made it sparkle. The back is laced beautifully to perfection. The front is simple and without decoration but the whole skirt is shinning with stones, golds and diamond and other things I didn't even know you could put in a dress.

The gown was long. The back part of the skirt was at least ten feet long. Pero kahit na ganon, hindi ako nabibigatan sa damit. Nina said the fabric is exported in Citadelle, The Land of the Elves. It is one of the most expensive fabric in Halifax known for being light, stretchable and for having this natural glowing look.
