Zoey's P.O.V

Ilang araw na ang nakalipas simula nun, nagsibalikan na uli kami sa trabaho. Its November 9th of this year 2020. Nag-aalala ako dahil nasa kompanya pa rin nila Jack si Liziel. Katulad nga ng kaniyang sinabi. I am his priority but hindi ko siya pinapayagang ihatid at sundo ako kapag may mga gagawin pa soya sa trabaho niya.

Nakaupo ako ngayun sa swivel chair dito sa opisina ko reading those reports from my employees. Napatigil ako sa paglipat ng pahina ng report na binabasa ko nang marinig ang ring tone ng cellphone ko.

I quickly pick it up when I saw the name that flashes at the screen of my phone. It's Jack.

["Love..."] iyon agad ang bumungad sa akin. Damn his voice. I miss it. I miss him.

"Hey, Is there any problem?", I ask.

["Nothing... I just want to invite you to go for a dinner later, after our job."]

I sigh. "Ang akala ko may nangyari ng masama diyan. Okay, what time?"

["Around 5:30 love. I'll fetch you later. Okay?"]

"Okay. I'll see you later.", I responded.

"Okay. Take care, I love you, and I miss you" he said then ended up yhe call.

I put my phone at my table and go back to my work.

I look at my wrist watch because it's already lunch break and here I am doing my job and seating at my swivel chair. Mamaya nalang siguro ako kakain.

I took my phone when I heard a message. I have an idea who sent a message to me and for sure it's not only one message but a lot. I open it and yeah my heart didn't disappoint me. It comes from Jack. Lagi niyang ginagawa ito sa tuwing oras na ng pagkain. And yes I am right, hindi lng isa, dalawa o tatlo ang messages na natanggap ko mula sa kaniya. It is 20 messages.

Hey go and eat a lunch now. Don't think about me, I'm okay.😉

Aba ang kapal din ng mukha nito ah.

Love please don't think about me. I am choking every time I eat my food.😩

Arghh. What's wrong with thinking about hi---I mean what's wrong with him? He's like a child. Kinuha ko ang plastic bottle na may lamang tubig at saka ako uminom roon.

Napaubo ako nang mabasa ang mensahe niyang iyon.

I am not pregnant! Argghh. Hindi ko na binasa pa ang mga iba pang mga messages niya.

I texted. In just a seconds I received his message.
