I liked this Commander character, He wasn't the evil, all powerful, full or himself kind of guy, he was funny and didn't like to bother people.
I watched him close the door and mutter, "Toothless, I swear there is something familiar about that girl, but I just can't put my finger on it..."
It was starting to get dark and I walked to the village center, where Ruffnut was. I started to walk home with her and I whistled a melody as I skipped along the path.
Ruffnut P.O.V
Was Astrid whistling? And for Thor's sake, skipping? She was HAPPY. HAPPY. Astrid hasn't been happy since Hiccup died.

The gang where playing truth or dare in the great hall, 10 days after hiccup died.
"Astrid, truth or dare?" Ruffnut questioned, hoping to lift Astrid's spirits, she'd been downcast for a while now.
"I don't care, truth?"
"Who, do you have a crush on?"
"No one. "
"Are you suuuuuuuuure?"
"Yes."
"Ok, I'll change then. "
"Eh"
"Have you ever had a crush on someone?"

"Whooooooooooooo??"
"*Sigh* H.H. Hiccup."
Everyone went silent.
" YOU LIKED THAT WALKING TALKING FISHBONE?!?! WHAT ABOUT ME?!?! I'M HANDSOME, STRONG, AMAZING, DARING , COOL-"

Astrid's eyes where aflame and there was a dagger tip embedded into the horn on snotlout's helmet.
" I WOULD NEVER LOVE YOU! YOU'RE JUST SO FULL OF YOURSELF AND YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE ELSE BUT YOU! I.i.i.i.i.i'll never love again, I never knew, until he died, how much I loved hiccup."
"But babe..." Snotlout said
"DON'T.CALL.ME.BABE. I AIN'T YOUR BABE, I AINT YOUR NOTHING!" She stormed out and slammed the doors.
"Way to go Snotty."
And from that day, for 5 years, she hardly laughed, or smiled

After Astrid entered her house, I fled to the Commander's and slammed the door open. He was stoking the fire and staring into its flames.
"Are you some , wizard, or something!?!?! I yelled
He sat up and looked startled.
"W.w.what? I didn't do anything!"
Yes you did! Hofferson girl is happy!!! She hasn't been happy in 5 years!"
