"Arrow. Stormfly, up." I spat out, still in shock from falling.

"What?" the Commander sounded confused.

I straightened my back, regaining some of my confidence and ability to speak properly. "Stormfly flew up, to avoid an arrow shot at me-"

"A WHAT?!?" he exclaimed, sitting up straighter than straight.

"An arrow"

"Shot AT you?"

"I think so..."

"Where did it come from?" he said, looking in every direction possible.

I pointed to a small island just east of us.

He dropped me back on Stormfly and flew in the opposite direction to were we were originally . The rest of the dragons (with us on our backs) struggled to keep up with him.

Even just before Toothless touched the ground, the Commander vaulted off the dragon's back with such agility and skill that I wondered how he was even human.

We landed seconds after him and struggled off the flying reptiles with not as much ease.

We made our way over to were the Commander was looking at 2 ships sailing across the water.

"What are they doing? What are they doing?" he muttered to himself over and over again.

"Who are they?" Snotlout said.

"Bad news, that's who they are," He snapped his fingers and pointed a cave entrance behind him. "In!"

We crept into the cave, darkness enveloping us like a suffocating blanket.

"Find something, driftwood" I heard the Commander say.

I dropped to my hands and knees and ran my fingers over the barren floor. I grasped the closest piece of wood.

"Got one!" I whisper-yelled, followed by everyone else.

The cave suddenly erupted in a warm, flickering light. The Commander's sword was on fire.

"Gah! You-your sword! It's-" Fishlegs whimpered.

"On fire, I know. Hookfang, light them up." The Commander gestured towards us.

The massive nightmare came and blew fire onto each piece of wood, lighting the cave up even more.

Tuff and Ruff were standing, still looking in awe at the flaming weapon. The Commander noticed this.

"Cool, isn't it?" He tossed the blazing sword from hand to hand .

The twins gave each other the Think-of-what-trouble-we-can-cause-with-that look.

"And no, you can't borrow it." He said and their faces dropped.

"Stay right here. Me and Toothless are going to let those men in the ships know that we don't want them here." And the Commander swung his leg over the black dragon's back and flew out of the entrance of the cave.

We waited.

We heard yelling and screaming,

Dragon blasts,

Commands being bellowed out to sailors,

The crackling of fire,

And then,

Nothing.

and then,

Nuthin
